My niece took a two bedrooms here and stayed for almost week, we got a chance to sleepover and to my surprise about the name Hotel Jen which was Traders before, nothing new actually except for the name I believe you must to recreate the theme overall.,

Formerly Traders Hotel Manila (not sure how many reviewers will have the urge to say that), this is a "hip" and "chic" hotel. They wanted to be the hotel of choice of the new generation. Despite the fact that it is on a old building, I can say they have succeeded on their goal. The staff with police badge as... More

Stayed for free because of an airline's cancelled flight so imagine a traveler with a lot of bags. We arrived before 7PM and everyone were busy. The front desk was very helpful and checking in was not that much of a hassle even probably I was the 30th in the line. I just put my bags in a corner on the... More

Stayed for two nights with my family. Front desk receptionist are very friendly, polite and very attentive.(thumbs up).I want to commend the lifeguard as well for being friendly and attentive to your needs and does great on what he does. However the staff in the latitude restaurant are somehow ignorant as if you're not paying for your food and wont even... More

I have stayed and ate at this hotel many times over the years when it was Traders Hotel. Now as the Hotel Jen the standard of service has plummeted. NOT impressed!!! The lunch time buffet used to be excellent. Now it is abysmal in comparison. very poor selection with staff totally unaware that Crockery and food was continuously running out.... More

We recently booked our planning conference for 2 days and had a mix of emotions. We were told that Hotel Jen is still part of the Shangri-la chain. Lets talk about customer service, we can feel that the friendliness and attentiveness is still present back when it was still Traders Hotel. Food quality has a slight decrease in satisfaction. The... Good comfy beds. Ample shower space. Complete bath accesories. The location is convenient for what I was set out to do . Meet friends at MOA. Visit relatives in Cavite and Alabang. Taxi is readily available. Staff were attentive and courteous. AC worked flawlessly. I have no complaints. And yes wifi works great and there is no need to log... More

For many years I have stayed at this conveniently located hotel in Manila, and found the staff lovely, the beds always comfortable and, best of all there is the facility of a swimming pool for my daily swim. Food pretty good and service very good. But Shangri-La, who own the Traders chain have decided to market a new brand; hotel... More
