I have stayed in many hotels in Makati. One glaring difference that I saw is that the front desk/reception staff of Somerset Millenium is at least 2 ranks below the usual high-quality front desk/reception staff one would find in 4 to 5 star hotels in Makati. We were given internet connection but only for one person although we stayed in... more

Somerset Millenium is located near Greenbelt shopping centre (approx. 5mins walk), which has many nice restaurants, bars and stores. The local taxi driver might have problem finding the hotel, it might be easier if you tell the taxi driver you want to go to greenbelt. We arrived NAIA airport terminal 2 and took a fixed fare taxi to Somerset Millenium... more

My wife stayed for 10 days at this Ascott property and was completely satisfied. We have nothing but high praises for the staff and the Hotel Manager, Anna, is a true professional. It was home away from home. This is the best complement we can give. The location was ideal. Just a few minutes walk from Greenbelt and Glorietta Centres,... more

I had a disastrous visit to Holiday Inn a few months ago and decided to give Somerset Millenium a try. In addition to a room, I also booked a conference/function room. I called their events/room manager a few weeks before. When I arrived, to my horror, we realised they booked a conference/function room in their sister property Ascott Makati despite... more

LOCATION - Location isn't great, even though it can be walking distant to the Green Belt. Think of your own safety, and take a cab instead. SERVICE & STAFF - Generally ok, didn't bother the staff much. FOOD / BREAKFAST - Breakfast selections and taste of food is below average. Don't make the effort to wake up early and make... more

I stayed in Somerset for more than 2 months and almost felt at home. The services apartments are big, kitchen well equipped, bathroom ok. Wardrobe really big. The staff is really friendly and the choice of breakfast (two restaurants) really neat. The swimming pool is small, but enough to take the morning swim. The same applies to the gym. Don't... more

I stayed at this Hotel for a weekend leisure trip to Manila. You have the nice Greenbelt in a short walking distance, incl. the less expensive malls like the Landmark. Great restaurants, bars etc. are also close. The staff is really nice, great service from check-in over breakfast to check out. They even called when it would be convenient for... more

We have just returned from a week at the Somerset Millenium. The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before. The location was so convieniently close to Greenbelt. Though cabs were hard to get. But one rainy night where we needed four cabs, the staff went out of thier way to get the cabs for us.... more

We stayed in the Millenium on the way through Manila for one night. The hotel was very well presented with excellent security at the entrance. Room was clean a new so had no complaints. One of the best points of the Millenium was literally 5 mins walk to the Greenbelt complex. Whilst it was expensive, it may be a bit... more
