It was Holy Thursday when I checked in. My regular room was upgraded to superior room at no additional cost. Big room! Polite people and they attend to my needs on time. Check in and check out was fast. Lots of convenience stores and food chains around the area. One thing that made me decide not to book again in... More

Nice room, polite staff. Although internet does not work and you need to pay for it. For what you get, it is a cheap place to stay. The only problem is as soon as you leave the hotel, you get swarmed by ladyboys which is more than disturbing. And, do not sit on the balcony overlooking the main street. Beggers... More

This hotel looks like it once was grand but not anymore, rooms are clean but shabby and run down, elevators aren't very nice and half broken down. No free wi'fi anywhere which is a deal breaker nowadays. Breakfast not included, poor and overpriced. Lots of sleaze happening in and around the hotel. Great if you want a night out in... More

I would look for a better hotel next time. Spent 3 nights and moved once to lower floor. Water doesn't discharge through floor trap in the bathroom, No free internet available (charging p600 per day!). Room is okay, bit small but clean.,, but there is nothing much to see through the window.

This is one of those hotels with a grand appearance but closer inspection reveals signs of decay and the faded glory of a better time. I like some of those hotels because they have character, but not this one. We booked an "early bird" discount. To me that implies you receive the product that is offered at a normal price... More

The trouble is that this is the Philippines and you learn not to expect too much. The room was clean and the whole hotel kept in good condition with nice corridors. Very much to their credit. I found the staff pleasant although I could have done without the offer of a taxi every time we went out. There are meter... More

The Makati Palace was a fairly decent hotel. I booked an executive suite through agoda at a fairly good room rate. The room was comfortable and generally clean. The bathroom could use a refresh of the grout and it looked like someone tried to play Tarzan from the hood over the mini stove, but other than that it was fairly... More

Rooms are alright BUT they have the VERY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER that I have been. They tried to charge me a hair dryer missing which I have nothing to do with it. I have to prove myself by practically taking everything OFF my baggage to show & prove them. Rushing to catch my flight, they don't even care. AVOID... More
