The following reviews were my observation during my 3 night stay at the Makati Palace Hotel. The Makati Palace Hotel is located at the heart of the Philippine financial and commercial center near the Central Business District. It is also located in the entertainment area of Makati. It is surrounded by bars, cabarets, videoke, etc. The hotel is also adjacent... More

Visited 3 weeks ago with my Filipina fiancee having to book somewhere last minute for 2 nights due to a change of flight to Manila. Website looked good etc. and didn't seem too bad on arrival - they did allow early check-in which was nice - but things went quickly downhill. The 20th floor room felt quite dirty and there... More

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The bed was a bit hard and carpeting old, but overall ok experience for the money. I was disappointed though when i paid for 24 hours of internet and if was not working. They would not have it repaired for 2 days, long after I was departing. So a waste of money on... More

This is a vertical palace. The staff of the hotel also have their eyes in the sky. They can hardly look at you and understand your needs. The guards at the front are much better, who try to help you with your luggage, call a taxi for you and extent an umbrella when it rains. The hotel has a policy... More

The website looks very nice hotel room looks very elegant! I wanna give you an applause for the marketing and advertising strategy! But guess what, with the staff especially that guards who've mistaken me as a HOOKER just because i am a filipina and i was with my italian boyfriend whom i have been with for 4 years! I really... The pictures on the site looks really nice but the actual seems different. I think it was a bit old as well as the rooms. The pool was nice and quiet but we didnt thought the gym will be as small and have a very few equipments on it. Overall its not as bad for a one night stay.

It was Holy Thursday when I checked in. My regular room was upgraded to superior room at no additional cost. Big room! Polite people and they attend to my needs on time. Check in and check out was fast. Lots of convenience stores and food chains around the area. One thing that made me decide not to book again in... More

Nice room, polite staff. Although internet does not work and you need to pay for it. For what you get, it is a cheap place to stay. The only problem is as soon as you leave the hotel, you get swarmed by ladyboys which is more than disturbing. And, do not sit on the balcony overlooking the main street. Beggers... More

This hotel looks like it once was grand but not anymore, rooms are clean but shabby and run down, elevators aren't very nice and half broken down. No free wi'fi anywhere which is a deal breaker nowadays. Breakfast not included, poor and overpriced. Lots of sleaze happening in and around the hotel. Great if you want a night out in... More
