The place is ideal for meetings/seminars. For the budget-conscious, the cost is reasonable. The hotel is accessible via public transpo since it is just a few steps away from Gil Puyat Ave. It is located at the back of AXA Phils. Parking spaces are available at the basement and at a lot across the hotel. But please be forewarned that... More

When in Makati Area and if you are not looking for a pricey place to stay during night this will be good..since Makati is a business area, it will not be easy to look for a budget hotel..they serve a good food..rooms are also good..you can have a good sleep..but if you are looking for excellent food, the hotel is... The Tiara seems to pick up some wildly mixed reviews on TA. The place has certainly seen better days and is long overdue a refurb; however my room couldn't at all be described as dirty or in any real way unsatisfactory, at the price. I suspect the people who give it poor ratings are expecting a full business-grade hotel in... More

This hotel is not practical for business use. You have to pay a charge for internet, the breakfast is paid for seperately and ordered a la carte. It is then served incredibly slowly, which is challenging if you only ordered a bowl of cornflakes. The decor is old, the rooms need to be properly cleaned sometime soon, and there was... More

They charge 2013 European prices in this hotel, but provide a 1913 service and décor hasn't been updated for 30 years. Protein with fruit in the morning, when the papaya was covered with ants. Cockroach catcher in the bathroom. Room wasn't cleaned although it was difficult to see with low wattage bulbs that prevented guests from seeing just how unclean... More

A wonderful 3 days where had at tiara. The staff where friendly and it's a really quaint hotel. It's hard to find but very good value for money. No complaints from me - its very good value as I had a lot of late nights - coming home was a breeze. Guests were allowed to come into the hotel and... More

Spent a night here with my girlfriend 4 years ago - so this review is very very late. First impressions: its old, musky, but still serviceable. This hotel has seen better days. When i say serviceable, I mean, it's okay if your not picky. The rooms are large enough (I got one with a separate living room and sofa), its... More

chose this hotel bcoz it's pretty close (walking distance) to the German Embassy we had to visit. Also Canadian, Australian and Taiwanese (?) Embassy at the same distance. Somewhat isolated from traffic, it's a quiet place which offers a reasonable comfort even if it might have seen better times. In our room (906) the water kettle did not work, for... More
