I booked this hotel through Expedia, hotel car pre-booked and on time. Nice friendly driver , warm welcome at hotel, Dominique on reception, friendly and efficient. Normal room booked but was frankly disappointing, dark and small. Decided to upgrade to club room, much better. Room service ordered on several occasions, fast and efficient, food was good delivery staff friendly and... More

The hotel is closing next month, but if you are thinking of a final stay for old times sake - FORGET IT. The hotel is effectively closed already bar you can still get rooms there. Although the room rates are the same as usual, almost every facility in the hotel has closed and attention to detail has long gone. I... More

I stayed here in late July. The hotel is shutting down in September. Dirty Carpet, abandoned restaurants. This is NOT a good place to stay. I'm sure it was a nice hotel at one time. Obviously they are not maintaining it now.

No seating in lobby every bar closed with the actual lobby bar being hired out for a function so ZERO place for actual hotel guests to sit and enjoy a beer THIS IS SHAMEFUL FOR MANDARIN they should drop this from their line up Rooms are average but clean. This place represents Manila, worn out and shabby. Don't stay here

I stayed here only for one night but the impressions last longer than that. The hotel is located in the center of Makati, a great location to nearby malls and shopping centers. Take the shuttle ride provided by the hotel if you don't want to hassle with the taxi driver. The room looked a bit tired for such a highly... More

I couldn't believe that I was staying at the Mandarin Oriental when I checked into the hotel in Manila. The lobby was not too bad, but the first room we were given was just horrible. It looked like it hadn't been used in years - the paint was peeling off in places, we could see parts of the wall that... More

My husband left his laptop in the hotel room and only realized it when we were at the airport. We called the hotel and advised them of such and after 30 minutes, the car arrived with the laptop. Kudos

This hotel really needs renovation. Lobby was old with bad smell. Furniture was worn out. Not at all expected from this hotel. However, the hotel staff was very nice and helpful! They helped with visiting nearby market and even helped us with getting cabs to airport. Not to forget, food was nice.
