We stayed in grand deluxe room (upgraded my complimentary superior room from my membership). Room was big enough to accommodate 3 adults and 2 kids (13 yo and 5 yo). Kids had fun in the pool and most especially the breakfast buffet. They'd like to come back for the hot chocolate alone :) Still highly recommended not just for business... More

I love this hotel except the lobby where you can smell food right away as you get in. They even serve buffet in the lobby. It is one of their main dining locations. If they just have a lobby like shangrila Makati, I would say Shangrila is second to Peninsula. Wish they have the lobby like Shangrila Makati where you... More

Spent a week at this hotel and it certainly lived up to expectations. Service was top class, all hotel staff were pleasant and efficient. It only takes a short walk to get to highly rated spas and shopping malls with good food, or you could even take the free shuttle. Back to food, the breakfast buffet spread is excellent, with... I travel to Manila fairly regularly for business, and the Pen is definitely the best of the bunch. Rooms are always pristine, beds are comfortable, there's a fantastic array of food in the restaurants and the beautiful pool is usually pretty empty early in the morning. Last but not least, the coffee is good - real espresso, not filter.

The Peninsula is not the cheapest hotel in Manila by far but was so relaxing & every amenity you could ever want is available. The bed was perfect, wonderful cotton sheets, marble bathroom, lots of water & free products, LCD TV (no Australia Channel tho), writing desk & thick carpets. Gym & spa is being renovated but the temporary gym... More

I think I've found my new hotel whenever I visit the Manila/Makiti area. Luxurious is about the best word that comes to mind the second you step in the hotel. The room was incredible (and what a view!) from the fresh fruit in the room, the abundance of free bottled water throughout the room, and the fax machine in the... More

The Peninsula Manila Hotel exceeded my expectations---it was very grand without being ostentatious and extraordinarily vibrant! The hotel was our final stop on a 16-day vacation in the Philippines. Stayed there for 2 nights---we spent 7 nights at the Shangri-la Makati at the beginning of our vacation. How we wished we did it the other way around because Pen Manila... More

This hotel is splendid if you want to be spoilt and do work then this is the place to go! The high tea in the afternoon is lovely and the meals in all of the restaurants are to die for. I have stayed here 4 times and as far as a 5 star hotel goes its service all the way.... More

The Peninsula is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and polite staff. It was such a refreshing relief to enter the lobby and be led right up to check-in. The lobby is gorgeous and very grand, with staircases sweeping from the second story and soft music playing. I hosted a business meeting in the lobby bar, and my guests enjoyed... More

The Peninsula is a wonderful hotel located in the heart of the Makati business district. The service staff is wonderful and very eager to please. They have several restaurant choices and the main lobby restaurant is open 24 hours per day - nice for business travelers working odd shifts in the shared service centers located nearby. They have a wonderful... More
