The Pen is an absolutely charming hotel with top-notch services. I stayed for 2 weeks for business and was never let down by any aspects. The staff was always friendly, the selection and quality of food in the restaurants and room service is great, it is conveniently located and within walking distances to Glorietta/Greenbelt (the shuttle service was fantastic as... I have been going to this hotel for the last 15 years and cannot recommend it highly enough. If required, a Mercedes will pick you up from the airport. Check-in is swiftly efficient, with a good data base of your historical preferences. The welcome is always warm and the staff of the highest calibre, from manager down to bell hop.... More

The staff was the best part of the stay. Although service in the lobby restaurant was slow. Also limited menu and average, except the adobo. Breakfast buffet was good. I could never get my room below 72f, and the Internet speed ranged wildly from excellent to non existent. Since it was a large business function (160) you'd think there were... More

If you are looking to stay at an elegant place with superior service while in Manila, this is a solid option. About the only drawback is the property is slightly dated (not worn), compared to it's competitors. Great location within walking distance for multiple dining and shopping options. A little paint and updated room decor makes this place a 5.

Very prestige! Used the Pen Card and its worth the try, gonna renew again. From the free room, cheese cakes, wine, singapore slings at the Salon de Ning, a dinner for two at the Escolta? For 9000php, that was a blast! Sulit indeed! Dont forget the breakfast, Turkey slices are awesome!

Nice, grand hotel. Love the lobby! Rooms are a bit dated, but still very nice and comfy. Service was good and the room service food was only okay. Very happy with it overall and would definitely come back!

Sinking, literally sinking into a Pen bed is a great experience. Impecable service, great food any time of day and easy access to main points around Makati. This hotel landmark continues to be a great place to stay.

What’s not to love about the Peninsula Manila? The lobby itself is breathtaking, from the soaring ceilings to the grand staircase, and the always-packed lobby bar—a place where people go to be seen. Took my family for afternoon merienda. Prepare to pay US$12 for Halo-Halo. What we liked: - Location: walking distance to Greenbelt Mall where you can find tons... More

A hotel where old fashioned service - both friendly and with obvious sincerity. Checking in was a breeze - this was my first impression of the friendliness of the staff. Just eye contact with someone across the very impressive lobby brought someone to enquire what was needed. Meals served in the hotel are what you'd expect (and more) from a... More

Hands down, my favorite local Hotel! Pros: Filipino Hospitality at its finest. Newly renovated (it's what it feels like, at least) rooms, fixtures, and room accessories. Terrific quality of equipment and amenities--both service and product; ie Swimming Pool, GYM, Lockers, etc. Strong shower pressure 9/10. Escolta Restaurant: Quality over Quantity. Literally a few steps from the Makati Park and Ayala... More
