What’s not to love about the Peninsula Manila? The lobby itself is breathtaking, from the soaring ceilings to the grand staircase, and the always-packed lobby bar—a place where people go to be seen. Took my family for afternoon merienda. Prepare to pay US$12 for Halo-Halo. What we liked: - Location: walking distance to Greenbelt Mall where you can find tons... More

A hotel where old fashioned service - both friendly and with obvious sincerity. Checking in was a breeze - this was my first impression of the friendliness of the staff. Just eye contact with someone across the very impressive lobby brought someone to enquire what was needed. Meals served in the hotel are what you'd expect (and more) from a... More

Hands down, my favorite local Hotel! Pros: Filipino Hospitality at its finest. Newly renovated (it's what it feels like, at least) rooms, fixtures, and room accessories. Terrific quality of equipment and amenities--both service and product; ie Swimming Pool, GYM, Lockers, etc. Strong shower pressure 9/10. Escolta Restaurant: Quality over Quantity. Literally a few steps from the Makati Park and Ayala... More

I have stayed at the Manila Pen 12 times for work purposes and I still enjoy going there. Friendly staff, excellent facilities, good food, excellent rooms and conveniently located. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Makati.

I love this hotel, because the service is outstanding. I have been visiting this hotel for about 5 years now and after my first visit the employees remembered my name and that I run. They are always helpful and work hard to make you happy. The lobby lounge is a great place for meeting, work or having dinner. I have... More

Grand lobby, spacious and well equipped room, FOC high speed internet connection. Gym is full of things to play with. Swimming pool is fairly small for this almost 500 room hotel. Breakfast here is something to talk about. Lots and lots of choices to choose from. You will feel like having a grand dinner with their breakfast buffet. Its one... More

From the grand and impressive lobby to the spacious (recently renovated) and tastefully appointed rooms, this hotel speak volumes of "old elegant Manila". Aside from having stayed here quite a few times, I love having afternoon tea at the lobby lounge. It's very central locations makes it an excellent choice for business and tourists.

Just finishing a weekend staying here for leisure and have visited before for business. A simply stunning hotel foyer that serves high tea very much like its sister hotel in HK but without the brash Chinese. Excellent hotel bar that has fantastic deals on at the weekend. Pool is a good size, clean and never too busy. Rooms are serviced... More

We had an overall great stay in a hotel that really plays with your senses. Top corner rooms are the best for a good view of the Makati skyline. Just don't look down at the streets because traffic is terrible on weekdays and unpredictable on weekends. The hotel itself is just a short walk from nearby malls and dining areas... More
