After an amazing stay a few months ago at the peninsula Hong Kong I decided to try the one In Manila. I was collected from the airport but at check in things went wrong..... Worst check in ever. I was stood at the desk for over 30 minutes waiting for them to find a room. When I went to the... More

POSITIVES: If you’re into classic architecture with marbles galore, you’ll be impressed with this jaw-dropping lobby & the restroom in the rooms. The lobby is about 4 stories high. To top it off, as you walk into it between 6PM to 9PM, a six-piece orchestra is playing at the top of a winding staircase. This is followed by a 3-piece... More

I love this hotel. The Lobby is elegant and stunning. The live classical music is beautiful. I stayed twice this time once on the club floor which is terrific. You have private checkin and club flour services. The second time was in a suite. The rooms are spacious and full of amenities. The room decor is getting a little tired... More

Stayed at the Peninsula in Manila once again where service is usually excellent. Booked a two roomed suite with executive club access via American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts. Checked in at Executive Check in on the lounge by Joyce. No mention of the benefits of the Amex Program and no FHR feedback form given out. Anyway, room was nice... More

In The Peninsula we spend just one night before to fly in Boracay this Hotel it's a really big and impressive hotel with an excellent service and staff. The only thing I can complaint are the exterior of the sofa's looking a little bit old. The main door entry will be better if is a big automatic sliding door. We... More

The hotel was very impressive, I have read the Manila Peninsula is not comparable to the HK, but I have to say it was fantastic! The Deluxe King Room was spacious but dated, especially the carpet - the carpet at the corners of the room were blackened with dirt/dust so I kept my slippers on as much as possible! Otherwise,... I booked the Peninsula car (against my better judgement as its 4 or 5 times more than a local taxi and much more expensive than Uber), but at least I'd have the convenience or the car waiting for me at the airport. Except it wasn't. I called the hotel, got passed through four people, each of whom hadn't been told... More

While not as solid as Hong kong, Peninsula Manila was a first class hotel that I would recommend for a stop over in Manila. The rooms were understated and elegant and service was as well. I would return.

I have not stayed here for over 15 years, so I came back to check it out. I have to tell you when I checked in, I had one of the best experiences. Mariel, who checked me in made me feel welcome and she did a fantastic job! This is a very classic hotel with all the nostalgia you would... More

The Peninsula is a simply wonderful hotel. We arrived during the Feast of the Black Nazarene and so our visit did not get off to the best start. Our trip from the airport took an unbelievable three and a half hours. Fortunately, however, we had booked hotel limousines and so we spent the time sitting comfortably at the back of... More
