The Makati Shangri-La is a beautiful hotel very well appointed in the Makati central district close to many amenities. The staff are very polite and helpful and I would thoroughly recommend staying here when in the area.

It has been over 15 years since I have visited Manila. I stayed at the Makati Shangri-La my last time as well and was delighted to return. As was the case 15 years ago, the Makati Shangri-La is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of Manila. I highly recommend it. WHY YOU WOULD LIKE THE MAKATI SHANGRI-LA 1.... More

As the title suggested, no complaint. Room was clean and breakfast spread was good with decent variety. Abit of a walking distance to greenbelt, but manageable since had to walk to office every morning. There is a huge mall nearby with good F&B outlets and a cinema to keep you entertained. A night market was on right infront of the... More

Dear Philip P, Thank you for taking the time to review your last stay with us. The night market in front of the hotel has long been gone; it has now been replaced with another establishment, but of course there is still a variety of shopping options just steps away from the hotel. I hope to welcome you again on... More

Very nice room (king with city view) and excellent cleaning / turn down service. Circles is an incredible start to the day with an expansive breakfast / brunch buffet. Very nice common area and bar areas. Departure process is awful - many odd / inconsistent charges and language. Presumptive transportation charges. Watch closely. Otherwise, nice property in Makati.

If you prefer boutique hotels, you will probably not enjoy Shangri-La. It is a big hotel chain, just like all the other names you are familiar with. But the difference is that Shangri-La is extremely well managed. The people working their take their jobs seriously, they are friendly, helpful, and quick. The hotel is very clean and orderly. The rooms... More

I have stayed here before but now normally stay are FBGC so this was a one night stay that I was looking forward too. All the usual staff service levels lived up to expectation. However was disappointed in the rooms, they have not been updated and clearly need to be so. Looking very tired and worn around the edges as... More

I had a flawless experience staying at Makati Shangri-La. The staff are attentive and extremely well trained, and the breakfast buffet is amazing! Although the exterior may be a little dated, the interior is well appointed and looks updated. It is consistent (if not beyond) with what I would expect from any Shangri-La hotel. I look forward to my next... More

It was during my third visit to Manila when I managed to stay in Shangri-La and ever since past 8 years I would have stayed here atleast 10-15 times. A very beautiful hotel and very large rooms and I used to get a upgrade to the club floor occasionally. The ambience is good the lobby is full of activities especially... More

Dear JijuP, Thank you for taking the time to recount your previous stay with Makati Shangri-La, Manila. I have stayed at the Makarti Shang many times, it is simply one of the best five start hotels in Manila. Great service and amenities, I have to admit its quite pricey but you get what you pay for. This was my second time staying in Makati Shangri-la for my business trip. This round I stayed for 7 nights and the service was the same, as fantastic as my last year trip.
