We stayed here for a few days on a stopover, and enjoyed ourselves despite the typhoon that arrived on our second day. Positives: - staff quick and pleasant - we ordered room service a few times and were impressed with the speed that it reached us - close to the airport - close to the malls - a 1min walk... more

The Intercontinental Manila should be the flagship for the chain's hotels in Manila, but it isn't. I definitely prefer the Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila, which was cheaper rate-wise but had nicer rooms and was very well-connected to a mall and cinemas, etc. Yes, the Intercontinental is near a huge shopping complex too, but you have to walk outside to go... more

This is probably not one of the best intercontinental hotels I have stayed in but saying that the location is superb, service is good and buffet breakfast was fantastic. I stayed in Manila for one night as I could not get a connecting flight to Boracay on the same day. Hence the location of this hotel is fantastic if you... more

Service was fantastic, very professional especially the concierge and the Club Lounge Level staff. So kind to my crying, crabby jet lagged kids! The waitstaff in the Club Lounge even gave them a lovely departing gift of coffee mugs with colorful drawings of a Philippine Tricycle and a Jeepney. The food was just so-so in the various outlets, but the... more

This hotel is loctaed in the centre of Makati, next to the Glorietta Malls ans SM department store. This hotel is very nice. The public areas are plush, the staff friendly, and the rooms nicely appointed. It's location is also a big plus. Having said that, it does not measure up to the best of the InterContinantal chain. Firstly, the... more

Kudos to The InterContinental in Makati City!! They single-handedly contributed to my wonderful stay in Manila and I can't wait to go back! And believe me, my stay could have been much worse - all work and no play. But somehow, I had an enjoyable, relaxing time all due to the InterCon. Upon check-in, the staff was so friendly and... more

I often stay in Intercontinental in Makati (2-3 times a year) because this is (unfortunately) our company corporate hotel. DO NOT stay there: 1. Rooms are old and outdated 2. Service staff is inefficient 3. Internet access is expensive Last week, I was robbed of one belonging in my room (yes it was not in the safe...). I complained to... more
