LOCATION: A 15-minute drive from the airport with little traffic. Cost: PHP 696.40. Avoid using Manila Airport Taxi (ASSI) pick-up service if you can. They are less than competent. You will end up looking for the ASSI counter yourself because there will not be an ASSI agent holding a sign, waiting for you as advertised. On top of that, you... More

The hotel was last renovated in 2006, I believe. She is well overdue. Indeed my first stay here was in 1995 and it feels like it is the same. Not intercontinental standard. As a frequent business traveller, I see a lot of 5*. Intercontinental Makati barely makes the grade, not for service which is up there, but for amenities. Most... More

I stayed at the intercontinental last April 2015. From the first moment I was treated like a star. On arrival my room was not ready (I would understand that since it was 11am) so I got a complementary drink while waiting for it. 10 minutes later my room was ready and that evening I got a letter from the manager... When you enter InterContinental Manila you know you arrived home. I have not stayed there for more than 6 month and still they all remember my name and my room preference. Breakfast in Club Lounge is great and service impeccable. Great Job for the best team in Manila.

The best egg omelette served. Thank you sir chef! I've spent a four day three nights vacation to unwind in this hotel. The complimentary breakfast in jeepney restaurant is good, the hot water in the toilet and bath is working, the staff are smiling. Great opportunity to be in this hotel

I was only in the hotel overnight but it was a great stay! The room was very nice (king room) and the air conditioning was magnificent. They have a beautiful pool and a great spa. I had a 1.5 hour "jet lag lift package" that was wonderful!! I ordered room service for dinner because I was too exhausted to go... More

Our school had our reunion here. We all had a great time, waiters are attentive however the restrooms were not maintained to think they know there's an ongoing function that time. Food was okay though I tasted similar items that are more delicious.

Stayed on the 4th floor over looking Gloriette shopping mall. It is very convenient, walking distance to the malls and local food chain restaurant - Gerry's Grill. However, like most of the reviewers here, I think they will need some renovation. Wifi in the room were bad. Keep dropping off. It is better at the lobby. Cleanliness & amenities were... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2015

At face value the Intercontinental Manila might not seem like 1st choice for deluxe accommodation in the city. On older hotel, of dubious architectural merit sitting in an area where there is no shortage of alternative and newer 5 star properties. But from the minute you are greeted by the doorman, it becomes apparent why this hotel is still such... More
