OMP is one of the best hostels I've been to in Asia. Clean toilets and showers and a decent breakfast, but social life is where they shine. The staff is very friendly, the lobby large and inviting, and the whole experience tailored toward meeting fellow travelers. They have group tours of Manila and Taal volcano during the day and pub... Clean wash rooms (except that during my 5-day stay, 2 of their shower rooms were out of order) 4. Fast and reliable Internet (oh I'm not kidding!) CON: 1.... More

The concept of this place is to be where you can relax and get to know other travelers. It's like a big family. The room that we stayed is quite small but it's comfy. The bathrooms and toilets are very clean and never be full which is a good thing. The location is a little bit hard to find but... More

Nice to see that although hippies and flower power and long hair and beards have receded into the distant past, there are still young travelers (without beards and long hair, but with smart phones and laptops) who are interested in other countries and cultures. Our Melting Pot is... More
