Ideally located, just cross the road and you are in Greenbelt 5, 2 minutes walk to Greenbelt Starbucks and movies theater, to Ayala Museum, and tens of premium shops and restaurants... For this you will have to pay a 3* price for a 2* hotel - which might be acceptable, but on top of this the hotel is far from... More

My highest priority was location in Legaspi Village, close to greenbelt and central Makati, all within walking distance. This location offered plenty of taxi's at street level at my disposal any time day or night. The Charter House service was adequate and as polite as I would expect, though the concierge, housekeeping, the doorman, and guards outperformed the aloof receptionists... More

This "budget" hotel is old, as other reviewers have no ted, but clean and excellently located behind Greenbelt mall and a 10 minute walk to Glorieta. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, thus you shouldn't expect 5-star accommodation but for the money it's a good deal. There is a rooftop pool which is fun. The sign... More

you get what you pay for, the place is at a perfect location, but the rooms are old and furniture as well. it is okay if you are just there for a night or usually always out. bed does the job, the bathroom as well. staff was very friendly, fast and helpful. would come again, but never longer than one... Weary hotel right across the street from green belt in Ayala center. Rooms are worse for wear, hot water is broken, and staff other than at the front desk not very friendly, and mediocre food. Has a certain unpleasant institutional smell I've noticed in other hotels of this class. I would only stay here if you really need to be... More

If not for its proximity to Greenbelt, I'd give it 3 stars. But since it's just across GB1, I'm giving it 4 stars instead as you'll save much from taxi fare if you're at the area as a tourist/shopper. For check-out, they need to find other methods of endorsement or double-checking to make the process a breeze and to save... More

Its a company accredited hotel, every official travel equals The Charter House. I dont mind going and going back to this hotel. The staff are very friendly, very considerate and accommodating. Laundry incharge is indeed very honest (always returning the bills left in my jean's pocket). It has comfortable lobby, most of the guests are executives. Served delicious breakfast, my... More

I stayed in this hotel as it was booked by company and had it not been the case i would have left it after the first night. The lobby is good and staff are very helpful and well trained but the issue is with the hotel rooms. I stayed on the 3rd and 5th floor (yes, twice i had to... More

The charter House has been a staple in Makati for a long time. My first stay there was in 1985. It still has a classy location, but unfortunately the "renovated rooms" were renovated in 1990. The room service is very good and cheap. The Aircon units in all the rooms are old, noisy, and don't work so well. Also the... More

Excellent Location, bang opposite to Greenbelt 5, location is very quiet and posh. The hotel is old but still comfortable, I stayed in a superior deluxe room, which had a very big window with blinds, in fact one side of the room was just window. Following are the Highlights:- 1. Hotel building- Old, must have seen much better days. 2.... More
