Simple rooms, clean. Outdated tv. Good AC. Good showers. Service is good. Room service and restaurant mostly closed with different excuses. When open... food was 3/5. Service excellent. Ovrall 4/5. Just need to make room service work and improve the rooms more up to date lightingban tv's. Wifi also intermittent but 3/5 on wifi overall.

We stayed here 2 nights in late December and were very happy with the hotel. Staff very helpful, room was spacious and clean and the hotel is within a stone's throw of bars and restaurants. Only real downside is the street noise. In the end earplugs meant this wasn't too bad an issue.

This hotel was an outstanding value in metro Manila. The art deco Pan American Clipper design gave it a great atmosphere among other larger and smaller hotels in Makati. The location was central to everything, the staff particularly Erwin and Sarah went out of their way to make the visit pleasant. With only about a dozen rooms it was peaceful... More

I had really high hopes based on the reviews - TripAdvisor has never let me down! And I'm not a particularly picky traveler - a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and good wifi is all I really want. To its credit, Clipper has those three things. My issue though is the noise - even at 10pm the street traffic was... More

Dear Mr. SriArt Thank you for your acknowledging that we fulfilled your 3 criteria: a comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and good wifi. We apologize that we were not able to accommodate you in another room as we were fully booked on your second night. On your disappointment with the excessive street noise, we do regret that this does occur at... More

We stayed 3 nights - room a good size, clean with a good shower. Reasonably priced for Makati - staff friendly and helpful esp Judy No breakfast but many places nearby inc 7/11. Yes the area was buzzing (people wise!) at night but it all seemed safe and friendly Will stay again

Came back yesterday. Not really my favourite hotel because it was not near to any malls or any descent chill coffee break places. Nah, if you were me, you found the very wrong place to stay. It was too crowded at night because surrounded by bars and there was a junction which lots of cars every time. You bet I... More

Dear Mr. Hardy L. Thank you for staying with us and for stating that our wifi was great in speed, space of the room is huge, clean and that you are satisfied with our air-con and give you some frozen night. However, we would LIKE to CORRECT your damaging comment about our location : Two of the city's best ,most... More

singles room 2k per night is spacious and has a modern feel. i love it but you have to pay extra for additional person, too big a room for one person. i dont like that you have two singles bed compressed to make it one large bed. hehe but overall pleasant stay, the aircon can be a bit noisy at... I seen this place a few times and decided to stay here, I enjoy checking out places all over and I was curious and also intrigued by the fact it was a semi duplication of the pan am clippers. The place a 3 story small but safe place, magnetic locks for the front door, 1st and second floor bars on... More

Although our taxi driver had problems locating this hotel, it is centrally located in Makati. Just tell a taxi driver to head for the middle of Burgis Street, and it is in a narrow street at the junction with Kalayaan Ave. (The address above should more accurately read - Ebro St (corner Kalayaan Ave/Burgis Street). Burgis Street is the night... More

I stayed at the Clipper Hotel for a week in May. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the hotel feels safe. The rooms are clean and spacious and the air conditioning works well. There are good quality shops, malls, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The noise from traffic was rather loud at peak times as the hotel... More
