Clean, comfortable and well located, not too far from the airport and in Makati, this was the perfect stop-over for us en route to Palawan. We had two rooms, one standard and one deluxe but to be honest couldn't see a great difference between them. Although situated by a busy street it wasn't too noisy (jet lag helps with sleep!).

So my girlfriend and I were looking for a place in Makati to cozy up for a few days to celebrate her birthday. We wanted a place close to the lively Makati Ave/ P. Burgos strip. Somewhere we could just walk out, enjoy the night checking out street food, cold beer and outstanding entertainment. We looked high and low and... More

The Clipper Hotel might be cheap and in a great location, but we did not like it. Old towels, and a very small okd fashioned TV. We had to go out to watch the football game we wanted to see. And only soaps in a bottle. We checked out after 1 night

Usually I stayed in the standard room in this hotel, but this time I chose the deluxe room, which has a couch, 2 tables with chairs and a fridge. It's really big. Again the wifi was on and off on the first day.

Have been staying at this hotel since it has opened, Juan Ramos the owner has focused on making this the best experience for his guest for the best price since the day it opened. The area is now becoming a thriving social area, and the hotel has maintained its course of value, comfort and quality.

This is my fourth stay at the Clipper. Still great value for money given the popular tourist location and convenience. Restaurants, bars, convenience stores, shopping malls etc. All close by. The staff are very helpful and attentive, just have to ask. Free wifi and desktop computer in lobby for internet use. Very clean and safe, safe boxes in the rooms... More

I took my Mom for her first Philippines adventure and stayed at the Clipper on the advice of several good friends. We started off in the one-person sleepers - rudimentary, but neat, compact and bursting with Pan Am-themed style! - before graduating to the larger rooms on the third floor. The staff were beyond helpful, the pre-War decor and general... More

Clean, comforable, stylish, attentive and friendly staff. Lots of nice restaurants around, Just a few minutes away from Makati's main shopping and entertainment zones, plus short walking distance to Rockwell Power Plant mall. Ask the reception to book you the best messeuse in their roster - it's one of their best kept secrets!

Simple rooms, clean. Outdated tv. Good AC. Good showers. Service is good. Room service and restaurant mostly closed with different excuses. When open... food was 3/5. Service excellent. Ovrall 4/5. Just need to make room service work and improve the rooms more up to date lightingban tv's. Wifi also intermittent but 3/5 on wifi overall.

We stayed here 2 nights in late December and were very happy with the hotel. Staff very helpful, room was spacious and clean and the hotel is within a stone's throw of bars and restaurants. Only real downside is the street noise. In the end earplugs meant this wasn't too bad an issue.
