It's clean but really old style. The bathroom is very small, so small that the TP is attached to the back of the bathroom door. Also significantly overpriced for what you get. Good location for access to Aurora and Skit.....

Howdy James, and thank you for your recent stay with us ! Checking your reservation I see you had a single queen economy room for $89.00; we do however have much larger and spacious deluxe rooms for only $10 more. I also see you had added a pet, so that would have added $20.00, bringing your total over our base... More

We spent 4 nights here recently. The motel is clean, clean, clean and the room was quite cute. The bedding was comfortable and linens were changed every day. TV was excellent, coffee maker in room. We called ahead for an iron and board, and it was in our room upon arrival, that was impressive. Conveniently located near all the lakes,... More

Stayed here one night over September long wkd. Room was very nice and clean. Unlike some hotels, it actually had character. Bed was comfortable, tv good quality, and a nice pull out couch. AC kept room cool, and we kept our food and water in the fridge. Owner was helpful in tips of area and was kind. Was great we... More

We were very satisfied with our stay. The motel is clean, comfortable, quiet for the most part, out of the hassle of town. Friendly gentleman at the desk. The wifi only worked outside on my veranda, but that was ok. I enjoyed sitting out. Has all you need at a reasonable price. We will stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your kind review with other traveler's. Your patronage and feedback is greatly appreciated. As you point out your smaller hand held devices and/or brands of cell phones may have less Wi-Fi receiver tolerances than laptops and I-phones which due to greater receiver capacity have much better in room travel capabilities. However, in... More

The motel is clean and comfortable and very clearly well-maintained. The sleepy Hollow Motel is conveniently located between Auburn and Skaneateles will stay again . Very quiet I think it was more comfortable than the big hotels. What I like just drive your car wright to the door . Didn't not have to wonder what floor you are going to... More

As others have noted, the rooms are very clean, the folks at the front desk are very friendly, and you can drive right up to your front door to unpack. Those who are interested in experiencing what it was like to travel in the 1950s and 1960s are encouraged to give this motel a try. It is a great trip... More

Thank you Jeff for taking the time to offer your review. Our senior feedback is certainly very important to us to grow and improve our guest experiences. We arrived very late and the manager was kindly waiting for us to arrive. We found the room clean and comfortable and exactly what we needed. Our only complaint was that price. We didnt have a choice on the weekend that we visited, but I didnt think it was a good value for the price.

Dear KMooner, Thank you for your kind patronage and thoughtful observations. With regard to question of price; what may have affected your totaled overall price for that one Saturday night stay on Columbus Day weekend could be the extra people you had all in one room, and also your added pet fee for your dog, thereby generating your room rate... Stay here for a night, EXTREMELY clean! 2 things did not make it an excellent stay: 1 no heat in the bathroom. It was freezing!!! The 2nd thing was the price. I think maybe it was worth 100 to 120 a night. Otherwise, the gentleman at the desk was sweet, the room was super clean and comfy! We would stay... More

A classic American roadside motel. Just like you remember, where you can park right in front of your room, unload your bags at your door. Very friendly and helpful owner / manager. Clean, well maintained beautiful interior that looks like it has been carefully tended to since 1959. If you like classic motels this is one of the best.

My husband and I were looking for a local motel to spend the night while in the Finger Lake region of NY. The Sleepy Hollow Motel was perfect. We enjoy staying in small local motels while traveling and this little place was neat, clean, cozy and comfortable. The wifi was great. The room came with a mini-fridge and coffee maker... More
