If you have to stay in El Cielito, I would strongly recommend that you book a room in their new wing. I was unaware of this, and had the misfortune of being booked in the old wing. I don't mind old and charming, but it seemed to me that their old rooms are neglected: typical 1970's design, heavily scuffed furnitures,... more
Stayed here for 7 nights in February. Bad experience at check in. We reserved a "Superior" room but the front desk clerk put us in a very small room, hardly any room to move around -- not at all the superior room described in their website and their brochures. Desk clerk insisted it was a "one-bedroom" suite, however, she ordered... more
We stayed for 1 night at the El Cielito Inn in Baguio. I must say we were quite impressed. The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly and we had the privilege of staying at their new wing. This hotel is also eco-friendly. The food at the restaurant was very good. We would gladly stay at this hotel again.... more
We stayed in this hotel in its new wing for one night. We took 2 rooms on the 3rd floor and its costs as nearly P8000 which was the price of a much better location hotel(Manor Hotel). They told us it was pek season. Food was pricey. We ordered room service for Pancit Canton which cost P1000. Breakfast was not... more
I'd like to compliment first of all to the Staff, who did a very accommodating and very good service to us...Hotel was reffered from a friend of mine and told me they have new wing built and nice rooms. We stayed at El Cielito Inn last Oct. 12 and we found the place nice & closed to d main attractions, the breaskfast is good. The staff are nice and accomodating except the front desk lady whose night shifting she's not accomodating and we felt bad what she acted......the room was clean but the bedsheets were itchy. .I CAN'T SLEEP............you... more
For the price this was a fine hotel. The staff was excellent. The room was a bit outdated, but it was very clean. The bed in our room was very comfortable. The hotel also had a nice atmosphere; very quaint. It is off of the main street, but very close walk to most atractions. The complimentary breakfast was very acceptable.... more
I stayed here for 5 nights, and the rooms are basic but clean. The only complaint about my room was that it was near the kitchen and smelled a bit of garlic... Anyhow, the hotel is under some major renovations, therefore can be noisey so I would find out if that is completed before you reserve a room. The hotel... more
