A nice and good hotel, located just 1 block from the City Square. Big and nice rooms and bathroom. Bedside reading lights controlled from a single switch. Not convenient for couples. Small breakfast selection. Very good staff.

We would highly recommend Los Conquistadores! It's walking distance to the historic and lovely main square, the Plaza de Armas, shops, and several restaurants. The hotel was recently beautifully renovated (you'll note the sunny dining area, upscale bar, and convenient business center) and the staff eagerly anticipates and addresses any special needs that you may have, e.g., I was having... Some of the rooms are a little "loud" when it comes to color palette but overall this was a very nice hotel and a great experience. The staff were very helpful and nice. The food at breakfast was quite good. You do get some street noise depending on which room you get so ask for a room far from the... More

When researching hotels in Trujillo, it was hard to find a good price near the Plaza de Armas. I finally selected Los Conquistadores, at $88 a night. Overall, our stay was great and I would highly recommend his hotel. I always try and get a room with a large bed due to my 6’4 husband. The room had a king... More

A nice place to stay in a city that is also very lovely. You are near the city square with its charming surroundings. The amenities are fine and the building is of quality. You can't miss on this one. Be sure to visit the ruins of the civilizations that precede the Incan, Chan Chan and the Temples of the Sun... More

The location is quite nice in a safe area of the city. The carpet was not really clean and the towels had some dirty spots. The breakfast was not good. Rooms are a bit noisy during all day but it became silent in the night. They started some work at 7 AM.

Los Conquistadores Hotel provided standard accommodations. Three computer terminals in the lobby for internet access. We had an inside room, #404, and it was satisfactorily quiet. The front desk gave us a hair dryer when we requested it. Water was hot, but the shower/tub was moldy. Toiletries consisted of two small bars of soap and two small shampoo packets, just... More

This hotel is located one black off of the plaza del Armas, in a safe area. Easy check-in,and we were able to upgrade. The room was a good size, with a fridge and flat screen tv. There was also a sofa and a full closet. (room 204). There is some street noise from all the taxis honking outside, but it... More

We were there for 1 night recently....did not experience the noise other reviewers mention. Room was somewhat small but clean & adqeuate....free wi-fi or hotel computers in lobby. Good breakfast included. Location is great...only about 2 minute walk to the main plaza.

very central, close to the plaza de armas, but as well close to the hospital (with a lot of ambulance coming and going at night). Nice rooms, but very lowd if you have your rooms at streets side. Nice breakfast, friendly staff. Hot water.
