After being let down by Clara (from Casa de Clara) we showed up at this place at around 9.30pm and had a choice of dorm, double with shared bathroom or private matrimonial. We decided for latter although the price of 60soles is definitely too much for what you actually get. The whole place is quite run down, the room, though... More

Stayed here 1 night, it is in a nice place in Trujillo, the beds were comfy, the shower ok. The owner is nice. Had no trouble with noise at night. Only thing is-it doesn't actually look like a hostel from the outside, but it is there!

I booked ahead in advance. My bus was 2 hours late, so I arrived after 11pm. The owner was nice and friendly, letting me in and showing me to my dorm room. The dorm room was very large with 4 beds and a bathroom with hot water. There is a bar next door which can make some noise but if... More

Great budget option on the higher end- lovely friendly and helpful family who own it- simple but tranquil considering the central location. Saturday nights are noisy with a club nearby but you'd get noise in any central location. Clean rooms- hot water works but sometimes it's more luke warm (in evening I found) but I was there in winter and... More

This is very stripped down accommodation – a room with a bed and a bathroom, down an outdoor hallway at the back of the property. Virtually no interaction with staff except to pay the bill on the way out. Probably okay as a rough place to crash for one night, close to the main square and near several tour agents... More

The are only 3 houses between the Plaza de Armas and this hostel. All rooms are away from the street and therefore really quiet for being in noisy Trujillo. I stayed two nights in a dorm room with four beds and lots of space and paid 20 Soles (~7.50 USD) per night. The shared bathroom/shower could not be locked, has... More

Trujillo does not have many economical options. This is a place that it is ok and with a normal rate. Nothing really impressive but enough. The location is quite good really close to the main square.
