Best thing of this hotel is the location. Right in the middle of everything. Staff poorly trained and clumsy. They forgot to clean our room and forgot to wake us up. No swimming pool as advertised, no room service, & very limited breakfast.

Small hotel (with one honeymoon suite, though), really inexpensive, situated on a (relatively) calm central historical street in Trujillo. Clean rooms, adequate breakfast. On the way to the central square, you'll find several restaurants and cafés (one historical with antique rooms, furniture, inside court- sorry I forgot the name) and an old toys' museum.

Korianka is frequented by peruvians and inland business travellers. It's located in town but does not belong to the most centrally located hotels of Trujillo. It faces front to a busy street, back to a school. We experienced Korianka minimalistic at the service and the breakfast. The functional rooms offer anything you basically need but aren't the cleanest. WiFi access... More

The Korianka is aprox. 10km from Trujillo´s airport and located in the histroric center of Trujillo. It´s a small hotel and those of you who used to stay in 3-5* hotels will "experience a significant difference" here. Checkin was quick; my room on the second floor was very small. No aircondition - just a fan in the room and a... More

Why not spending almost $40 for a single room? Place was clean, room was not huge, it was just great for one person. Bed was good, hot hot hot! shower! Loved it. Trujillo in January is not devilish hot, yet warmish to keep the fan on for a while. Loved the location, safe and clean. Wished to have stayed in... More

Sheets thin as single-ply toilet paper, router just outside our door flashed impotently giving no promised WIFI but the towels were thick and great. We paid the same in Lima for MUCH more service and room, and working WIFI. Noisy room at back, thin windows unfitted in location. Get thee somewhere else!

An okay choice for a stay in Trujillo, although you should definitely look around at other hotels in town if you're able to. Location - by far the hotel's best feature. One block from the pedestrian street (Pizarro St), 4-5 blocks from the Plaza. As is often the case, TA has the wrong location marked for this hotel. Room -... More

We stayed in the suite with the jacuzzi tub. It had a fridge with drinks and snacks. Although the snacks were pricier than the store, they were not exorbitant. The hotel is located a few blocks from the main square. The shower was excellent, nice water pressure and plenty of hot water (not a common finding in Peruvian hotels). The... More

I am a mother with two teenage children (13 and 18), we were travelling to Peru to visit their grandparents in Lima. To take a small vacation within Peru, we decided to take a bus to Trujillo in the North to try and find the sun. We had been desperatley trying to find a budget hotel in the Centro Historico... More

The review titled "Pleasant stay" does a pretty good job describing the hotels strengths & weaknesses. However, we didn't find the service to be all that great, but for one woman who was very helpful. The hotel also backs onto an art school, so if you don't like people practicing the wedding march or hearing band practice, bring earplugs. The... More
