Our experience started hesitatingly and we were worried that this was going to be an expensive mistake - but by the end of our stay we were won over by the charming staff. Perhaps the website over markets the place and you have to remember that this is an eco lodge in a very remote location. The pick up (included... More

Titilaka has a stunning location on the lake with amazing water views from everywhere. Lots of lovely areas to relax in, both inside and outside, on day beds and terraces. the rooms also have gorgeous views. We had a sunrise room on the ground floor. The wifi was VERY SLOW. The rooms are a reasonable size but appear cramped as... More

This beautiful modern hotel hotel situated on the western banks of Lake Titicaca has beautiful sunrises and sets to view by a bonfire near the private jetty or through the huge windows from the restuarant and bar. The food the restaurant serves is phenomenal, as are the wines and Pisco. The surrounding villages and excursions by private boat that take... More

Our guide collected us from Juliaka airport and the first thing he did was test our oxygen levels. 89 and 90. Pretty good. The Hotel Titilaka is at 3850 metres and, whether you come from sea level (Lima ) as we did or from another lower part of Peru, blood oxygen levels are very important. Hotel staff were keen to... Dear Hedonist_Australia, Many thanks for your lovely review! We are very pleased that you were able to enjoy your stay, especially considering the drastic change in altitude and cold weather that you experienced. We take a lot of pride in our quality of attention and service, and it is great to hear that our staff were to your liking. We... More

Titilaka is like no other resort in Peru (or much of the world for that matter). The setting is SPECTACULAR, on the water (you feel you're on a ship), with the ability to see both the sunrise and sunset, surrounded with wonderful architecture, furnishing and art. The staff is first rate, getting to know you quickly by name, super friendly,... More

I always knew that if I ever travelled to Lake Titicaca I had to stay at Titilaka and it didn’t disappoint. This all-suite property is in a simply stunning and peaceful location on the edge of the Lake about an hour south of the hustle and bustle of the more touristy Puno. You really won’t tire of the view -... More

We are a couple who have just returned from a wonderful 2n/3d experience at Titilaka. Everything was wonderful... the room, the food, the excursions, and of course the location is just perfect. The sunset over the lake is one of the most beautiful I have seen and we also enjoyed the sunrise each morning through the window from our bed.... More

We are a family of 4 with two young children (2 and 5) and spent 2 weeks travelling through Peru, from the Amazon to the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu to Lake Titicaca. It surprised us that Titilaka and Lake Titicaca was the highlight of our trip, for both parents and kids. We were impressed with the service details provided... More

After reading the last few posts, i decided to tell our story. We arrived to the hotel on May 24th after eight days of high altitude hiking and sight seeing between Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and back to Cusco. Our pre paid reservation was for 3 nights. We were looking forward to relaxing at Titilaka. After arrival we basically... More

Dear Tbrash, Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. We are deeply sorry about the strike situation, this kinds of events are totally out of our control. Our three day stay in early May at Titilaka was very distressing when we experienced food poisoning as a result of eating chicken that was prepared at the hotel and taken on an excursion for us for our lunch, five hours later. The food was not refrigerated. Titilaka provides an exclusive all-inclusive package of accommodation, meals & beverages and excursions.... More

Dear Guest, I understand your concern and disappointment with your experience on the Lake, but must refute your accusations for being speculative and imprecise. We have been exchanging emails with you and your travel agent since you left the hotel in an effort to show a sincere interest in your concerns. As you know it is almost impossible for us... More
