We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, the room was comfortable, quiet and clean, plus there was slippers/robes, and tea/coffee making facilities, which weren't in the "Classic" Andinas that we have stayed in. The drink facilities were particularly welcome! The bathroom was clean and a large array of free toiletries to choose from. Although the hairdryer was a bit... More

I found the Casa Andina chain to be overall good but with some cons at each hotel. I spent two nights at this hotel. The pros at the Casa Andina Private Collection Puno were a very good public terrace overlooking the lake with a beautiful view, a good restaurant, and its own train stop--a huge plus. I took the Andean... More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling South America. This is a large hotel with many rooms which is on the lake shore of Lake Titicaca. We had a lake view room with a view through a small balcony. The room was well appointed. The hotel is some distance from downtown Puno but it is only a 10 soles cab... More

This was our last stop on our two week trip and it left a lot to be desired. As mentioned by several other guests the hotel is in serious need of renovation. The carpets along the hallways getting to our rooms were ripped in several places. The heating in the rooms are terrible and i slept with every blanket i... More

Very clean, nice hotel overlooking a bay of Lake Titicaca. We found the entire staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable but nothing special. Hotel restaurant was okay. Lots of restaurants to choose from in town. Nothing within walking distance of hotel, but only 8 to 10 Sol ($3 to $4) for a cab into the main... More

The hotel was clean and rooms were spacious. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of fresh towels. The view in the back private pier was wonderful looking out onto Lake Titicaca. The staff was courteous and helpful. They also provide oxygen to those that need it for their altitude sickness - you can ask them to bring it into your... More

The hotel is very nice, good bar and quite pricey for Peru restaurant. You are on the lakeside, but some way out of Puno (cost of a taxi about 10/20 nuevo sole - £5 ish). The staff are very friendly and helpful, although I was annoyed they could not change any dollars for me on arrival, but you can pay... More

I am not sure how anyone can say that this hotel has any minuses. It is located right on the lake, with the views of the lake and town(Puno) from the rooms. It is located 15 minute walk or 3 minute taxi ride(10soles = $1.5) from the main square of the city. The rooms are immaculate. Food is great. Service... More

Lovely hotel, nice room, good food in the restaurant. Hotel was situated a long way out of Puno, with nothing else around. So we were a bit of a "captive audience" therefore had to eat in hotel restaurant or pay for a taxi to take us into Puno. Bar prices were high also.

My wife was feeling ill after traveling to altitude (be careful about altitude sickness in Peru highlands) the waiter Juan Pineda went out of his way to help us. I ate dinner alone at the hotel restaurant (alpaca steak is excellent) during the meal Juan found out that My wife was bed stricken. He brought hot chicken soup to our... More
