The hotel is lovely with a great view of the lake. The hotel located 10 min from Puno downtown (by car). The room we got was very small and a bit claustrophobic The restaurant serves great and beautiful food ( one of the best we had in Peru) Worth a stay while checking the size of the room

This hotel was really lovely and we had an enjoyable stay. The location is great and the lake views are very good. It was nice to be a little away from puno city. Service was really really outstanding and everyone semed genuinely friendly and keen to help. Rooms were by far the best I have seen in Peru and the... More

The hotel is well situated to provide lovely views of the lake. The reception staff were not very friendly though, and I was surprised that the hotel did not offer any complimentary water - not even one bottle for the first night. The room was fine, and the bathroom well stocked with very nice toiletries. The staff in the restaurant... More

My review refers only to the restaurant as we were staying at a hotel close by whose restaurant and service were lacking. We were warmly greeted and our order quickly taken. Choice of food was extensive and reasonably price. Quantity of food was large especially for the starters. Overall the food and service was first class, a truly memorable meal.

The hotel tap water is not safe to drink, and the hotel does NOT provide bottled water or a central safe water source. A first for us. There were no warnings or information posted. Conversation with the front desk led to a confirmation that the tap water is unsafe and the suggestion to use the "machine" in your room: the... More

Came here on a tour, planning to visit some of the Bolivia islands in Lake Titicaca. Altitude sickness had other ideas. The hotel was very good about accommodating my change in plans, and of others in the group. The hotel was a pleasant place, very casual, and with a fantastic view of the lake.

We arrived in Puno aboard the Andean Explorer train from Cusco. Great location with many rooms having fabulous view of the lake (at a cost). Food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. If I had any gripes they were minor. There is no elevator so get the staff to deal with your luggage. Also there was no bottled... More

We originally chose this hotel because we were thinking of taking the train from Cusco to Puno, and this hotel has its own train stop, which would be very convenient. In the end, we took the bus instead as the train doesn't run everyday, but still decided to stay here because of its lake side location. We took a taxi... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, the room was comfortable, quiet and clean, plus there was slippers/robes, and tea/coffee making facilities, which weren't in the "Classic" Andinas that we have stayed in. The drink facilities were particularly welcome! The bathroom was clean and a large array of free toiletries to choose from. Although the hairdryer was a bit... More

I found the Casa Andina chain to be overall good but with some cons at each hotel. I spent two nights at this hotel. The pros at the Casa Andina Private Collection Puno were a very good public terrace overlooking the lake with a beautiful view, a good restaurant, and its own train stop--a huge plus. I took the Andean... More
