The setting: You are about a 10 minute ride from the center of Puno, and an hour by car from the Juliaca airport. The reception/lobby is nice and welcoming, with plenty of seating and complimentary hot tea. The wifi works great in the lobby. The hotel has small but picturesque garden, its own pier on Lake Titicaca as well as... More

My husband and I spent 2 days/nights in Puno at the Casa Andina Private Collection. We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean with a wonderful bed and great bath sheets. The restaurant was lovely - we had wonderful dinners, an awesome cooked to order breakfast, and a fabulous South American Wine list. We had no complaints. The service... More

I had stayed here last year without my wife and chose to visit again this year when we were traveling together. The rooms are clean and a good size. I love the view of the lake and wandering along the pier. The bar and food are a little high priced for Peru (basically US prices) but not too bad and... More

I read the reviews of this hotel the day before we were headed here and I was concerned about what we would find given the recent reviews. I will tell you that I found all the staff to be friendly, courteous, and helpful. We ate at the Alma Restaurant our first night at the hotel and the food, though not... More

After a misunderstanding we eventually arrived at this quite comfortable, beautifully situated hotel. As already stated (see fjorgens review) travellers must be made aware that there are several categories of Casa Andina Hotels! The Private Collection Hotels are supposedly the 4 star category. The accoustics could have been better...but we were not bothered by noise. (The hotel was not full... More

I write primarily due to the confusion between this and the other Casa Andina properties. This is a very average hotel. The walls were quite thin and noise transmitted easily when the hotel was full. Security was lax (maids left the exterior sliding glass doors unlocked on the ground floor level rooms each day). The dining room was poor, and... More

Easily the best located hotel in Puno, out of town and on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Food in the restaurant is excellent. Unfortunately (and highly unusually for a Casa Andina hotel), the service is appalling. The staff just don't seem to care - despite offering an airport pick up service on one occasion they sent a very dodgy local... More

This is an average hotel in a chain better known for more upscale properties. The rooms were average but clean; the lobby/lounge/bar area is small. The dining room was OK, the food unmemorable. The morning buffet breakfast was OK, though there was only waiter to provide service. You do get nice views of the city of Puno from the hotel... More

We loved our time in Puno! The hotel was clean and comfortable ... things that are very important to my wife! But, the first person we met as we arrived was the highlight of our experience with you! His name is Helaman Espinosa ... what a genuine young man! He spoke English perfectly and he made us feel right at... More

We arrived late one evening to discover our travel agent had not booked a Lake View room as had been requested and was on our travel documents The hotel receptionist told us there were no lake view rooms, remember this is off season and no way was the hotel booked out. After some time we were then told the hotel... More
