My husband and I stayed at the Casa Andina Private Collection hotel in Puno for the last 2 days of our trip to Peru. Unlike many of the other hotels we stayed at in the country where the service was excellent but the facilities were underwhelming, this hotel was kind of the opposite... a lovely hotel with well-heated rooms and... We were really disappointed when we checked into this hotel. Whilst comparable in price to the other hotels we stayed at during our trip to Peru, this one was of a significantly lower standard. The rooms are average-motel standard at best - small, dated and stuffy. Whilst the hotel sits on Lake Titicaca, the terrace area at the back smells... More

This was the second Casa Andina location we stayed at during our two weeks in Peru. While not as physically attractive as the one in Cusco, the location beside Lake Titicaca was lovely. It appeared that most rooms have a lake view and small terraces. We ate two meals in the restaurant since it is a bit isolated from the... More

We arrived from Cusco hoping to enjoy out 7th anniversary in Puno, when we arrived at the Juliaca airport our arranged pick up from the hotel never arrived!! We were stranded at the airport, alone! some airport employee gave us their cellphone and when we called the hotel they did not even find our room reservation. We got into another... More

We stayed two nights in the hotel to explore the floating Islands and to board the Andean Explorer train to Cusco. The hotel is situated a bit outside the city centre at the border of the Lake Titicaca. The environment is a bit of a shaby one and that is underlined by the electric fencing around the hotel. The hotel... More

We arrived around 630 in the evening on a Saturday, just after dark. Whilst the hotel seemed quite Close to the main road the view over lake Titicaca was breathtaking and the beds were very soft and comfortable. My wife was very pleased with the bath even if it wasn't very big. As the hotel is outside of Puno we... More

We stayed here towards the end of our trip to Peru, and were very happy withe location, being out of the main town, and also having its own jetty for taking a boat trip on the lake. It is positioned well back from the lake with good views and in a quiet location. Being out of town meant that we... More

The Good: 1) Being dropped off on the train tracks and being met by hotel personnel and walked to the hotel. I thought that was pretty neat. 2) Walking to the end of the dock on the Casa Andina property to aboard our boat to Suasi Island. 3) Our breakfast and evening meal were good. Wait staff was very attentive.... More

Stayed here for one night whilst travelling between Puno and Bolivia. Hotel it situated a 10 minute taxi ride out of town, so if you are looking for somewhere quiet and out of the way, this is it. The views onto lake Titicaca are superb. The rooms are very nice, the bed was huge. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Staff... More

We booked this hotel prior to our Lake Titicaca expedition... really nice/clean rooms with great view. Hotel restaurant is nice, food is goos but slightly overpriced. breakfast was really good with many choices (buffet)! Only negative thing... it's very far from downtown (no local restaurants close by) and taxis will overcharge gringos! We actually got engaged at the end of... More
