The view was great, and so was petting the llamas, but the hotel itself was mediocre. The room was a fine, albeit a bit dated. It was also chilly, and we used the space heater provided. The bed was quite comfortable. The food at the restaurant was good (we both had pizza). Breakfast was just ok. Our bathtub clogged up... More

We were able to get a deal on this hotel, which was the only reason we stayed there. It was absolutely amazing. Incredible views, great rooms, delicious food, and a wonderful staff! I highly recommend staying here if you can afford it. My only complaint is that it is the location, it is not near the downtown area of the... More

Hotel is isolated from main town; advised by reception not to walk outside after dark. room very modestly furnished with small balcony with lake view but in block accessed via uncovered walk from main building. We were dependent on the hotel umbrella supply to avoid being drenched by a heavy evening shower on arrival. biggest issue was the complete lack... More

As a solo traveler first time coming to South America I wanted to be sure I was staying in safe, clean and comfortable hotels. This hotel is set on the beautiful Lake Titicaca and has unsurpassed views. As I didn't quite want to ventimure out to Puno on my own I had two dinners in the hotel restaurant and they... More

The main reason for staying here was for the location, overlooking the beautiful Lake Titicaca. Hotel has its own pier going out across the long reeds to the lake, lovely to walk along first thing in the morning as the sun rises. Rooms were comfortable enough with the facilities you would expect from this chain of hotels. Bar area was... More

I have to agree with other reviews, great views (if you book a room with one) but tired. The room/bathroom was on the small side but warm, the bed/pillows were very comfy. The bar area is rather austere set in reception and is not really an area you want to spend any more time in than you have to. The restaurant... More

I suspect this hotel lives on the fact that it has spectacular views of the lake. Other than that, nothing memorable. Staff were friendly enough and breakfast was a cut above the average. The rooms were sad sad sad. About 20 years overdue for a refit. If I say beigey , avocado plastic bath, that should give you a fair... More

That's what immediately strikes you, the location on the boarders of the Titicacalake. From our room we could see quite a distance over the lake. The view starting from some totora-fields (totora is let's say big water reed), over the water to the other side were you can see Puno in a distance. The hotel has a small pier that... More

Nice hotel on the banks of Lake Titicaca, "the highest navigable lake in the world". This location enables us to meet our boat for our tours to the floating islands of Uros and the island of Taquile. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded into a suite. The room itself was huge with a fireplace inside. The fireplace was nice... More

The view to the lake was stunning. We did not have the lake view rooms but the 2 rooms closest to the reception and bar. And one night when there were a whole school class in the bar area - it was somewhat noisy as the doors seems thin as paper. Other than that - the dinning room and food... More
