The trouble started when our group booked in. They took our passports and said they would deliver them to our room. After an hour - no passports, so I went to reception and they were sitting on their desk behind the counter and no-one there. When I found someone they were all mixed up. Not good enough. The room we... More

I stayed here for 10 nights during the festival of the virgin of Candalaria. It is a great location in Puno accessible to the stadium, Jiron Lima and good restaurants. I walked everywhere except to the docks for a boat to the islands on Titicaca. That was a cheap cab ride away. The hotel staff is very friendly and strive... More

The hotel is very clean, centrally located, and the staff is both friendly and helpful. Bradley was small but nice. I'd like to give the hotel a good rating, but unfortunately the room was so uncomfortable and noisy, to the point where I didn't sleep well at all. First, there are no closets or drawers to store clothes, a minor... More

Puno street streets were being torn-up outside the hotel and the hot water was not really hot plus the cold water tap didn't work! Coming back from our "floating island" trip the weather suddenly changed to hailstones and the hotel lobby was flooded! Chairs were provided as a bridge to get us to our room. However we could walk to... More

Nice staff, pleasant rooms that are comfortable and nice and warm in the cold weather (we were there during December) and only a block or so away from the main area. I would most definitely recommend it.

The staff here were really great and I thought it was a good hotel with a good location. Our room was lovely with plenty of hot water and was warm too. Pizzas were also good straight out of the oven. The street being torn up was never a problem for us. Good breakfast and we enjoyed our stay here.

Having your hotel on a torn up street could be a little off-putting, but it worked out fine. The hotel staff carried our luggage from the corner and back as needed. The hotel staff were efficient and the room was fine. Breakfast was quite good, although our room overlooked the roof of the dining area and it was a little... More

Visiting Puno for Lake Titikaka we stayed in Casa Andina. Although front street is under construction and almost impossible to locate hotel, staff was very attentive. Hotel was well located near Plaza de Armas and other walkable restaurants. Good and simple breakfast. Good pizza al "leño". Rooms are ok, too cold, coming from caribbean weather. Recommended for weekend stay.

We stayed here for one night in November 2013. The street was up and it was pouring with rain, but the hotel has a wood burning stove for serving home made pizzas so we were able to stay in. The Casa Andina chain seems fairly reliable and this suited us fine for a brief stopover before going out on the... More

This street is having its utilities put underground--but it no longer has the 3 foot deep hole running the length of the block--I would assume that the street will be paved by the end of November. Due to the construction, our tour bus had to drop us off at the corner and we had to walk to the hotel. But... More
