The room is generous and the heating just fine. Unfortuneately there was a problem with the hot water, so a couple of the showers were bracing. They staff were so apologetic and soon had the problem fixed. Nice surrounds, good breakfast and lounge areas.

We paid $109 hoping for a comfortable night after a days traveling. We got a basic room for 2 and a basic bathroom. Nice staff. Convenient (if dingy) location as you can walk with luggage from the train station and short walk to Centre. Evening soup seems to be a feature but didn't seem much to boast about. Breakfast uninspiring.... More

We had a lovely stay here...after being sent to rest by our guide for 4 hrs first day. There was 12 of us travelling together and most of us felt the altitude, not too badly, but enough to know we were are reasonable altitude. Our guide told us that the effects of altitude are partly dictated by our attitude! However... More

Nice staff, friendly and helpful. Good rooms for a stay for 2 nights- heater in room, nice shower, low water pressure in sink. 3 single beds, hard but that's been typical in Peru for me so far. Carpet floors. Great breakfast buffet include. Soup dinner buffet and other food for extra cost. In quiet part of town walking distance to... More

We arrived late and departed early. So not too much to say about. The room was small and dark. The heating didn't do its job. The bathroom is ok. The bed is tiny but ok. They have an ATM in the hotel which was handy. The breakfast: 3 different types of fresh fruits, cold cuts, cereals, juice etc. was ok.... More

Having now spent some time in South America I think the average 3 star hotel is exactly that. This hotel is well situated to the Main Street with shops and restaurants. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms basic and clean. Breakfast is fairly average. There is on site pizza but there was construction in the area during our... More

Great central location, and value for money. Arrived at midnight and greeted by very welcoming and friendly staff. Room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable. We were feeling the unpleasant effects of the high altitude and the staff were very aware to this, with a large bottle of oxygen sent our room that night. The following morning we had... More

The trouble started when our group booked in. They took our passports and said they would deliver them to our room. After an hour - no passports, so I went to reception and they were sitting on their desk behind the counter and no-one there. When I found someone they were all mixed up. Not good enough. The room we... More

I stayed here for 10 nights during the festival of the virgin of Candalaria. It is a great location in Puno accessible to the stadium, Jiron Lima and good restaurants. I walked everywhere except to the docks for a boat to the islands on Titicaca. That was a cheap cab ride away. The hotel staff is very friendly and strive... More
