we stayed in this hotel during a tour of Peru and found it clean and comfortable place to stay. The rooms were a good size, bed very comfy and there was a bath as well as shower in the bathroom, where there was plenty of hot water. The breakfast was the usual fare, nice fresh rolls, scrawled eggs and fruit,... More

The hotel staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet reasonable and served early to our tour group to fit in with travel plans. Stayed for 2 nights at this establishment. Some good touches such as free bottle of water and small pack of sweets in room. Cleaners unobtrusive and porterage and storage for bags excellent. The hotel is a bit tucked away... More

Hidden down a small side street this little property offers 3 star standard accomodation in the heart of the shopping area downtown. The rooms are on the smaller size but are clean and surprisingly quiet for the location--perhaps we were just lucky? Adequate breakfast and bag storage is available. Good value for the money

The rooms were large, the bed comfortable and sufficiently warm. I detest hot hotel rooms and so I was pleased to have cool rooms but cosy beds. The shower was hot. The staff were outstanding - very friendly and helpful. We had a very wet night in Puno and umbrellas were freely available as was good advice on restaurants. The... More

We were under the impression from our guide book that this was a new, modern if somewhat stale hostel. That is not the case. The rooms are fine, the breakfast was fine and the staff was reserved but plesant. It's all fine but it's not the modern establishment it was billed as.

Thank you for taking your time to post your comments. We want to clarify that we are a hotel with an old style of Puno, where predominated use of wood now with touches of modernity, but we are not a modern hotel 100%. More

I stayed here as part of a tour and like all the hotels it was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Like many of the hotels in Peru coca tea was available all the time in the reception area. Rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfast was of a good quality. The exact style of the place has faded in my memory... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of my 12 days Peru vacation. I believe that this is a family run hotel. It is a good location close to the main square, restaurants and the pedestrian area. The staff are helpful and the breakfast provided is excellent. The room is quite large and the bed is very comfortable. There is a... More

Thanks for your comments. First of all we have to indicate that our decoration is not modern, it is the style of old Puno, with use of wood. We also use energy-saving bulbs which takes some time to brighten we also try to not have many lights on in times that are not necessary for an ecological theme. About our... More

I stayed here for two nights as a base for a visit to Lake Titicaca. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly, assisting us in booking our trip for the next day, and also callingto reserve bus tickets for us to Cusco for the day we were leaving. There was a very nice breakfast which starts at 6, great... More

We stayed 2 nights in Puno at the Qelqatani Hotel and we enjoyed it very much. We asked for a double room with two single beds, and they gave us a room with 4 single beds for the same price, so more space to put our luggages. The room is confy and there's a warmer that you can get on... More

We loved the Qelqatani hotel in Puno. Our room was nice size with a very comfy bed. Ample blankets and breakfast was filling. It was walking distance to the pedestrian street with lots of restaurants and bars and cafes. Besides a really good location, Qelqatani excelled in service. They booked for us a private taxi from the Tourist Bus Station... More
