Needs attention. We had in interior room, with no natural light. Entire hotel was dark, very low lighting. Had a feel of having been abandoned for awhile. Beds had 3 heavy wool blankets plus a comforter, Blankets were too heavy to sleep under, had to break apart the bed. We were here in January, so was not cold. I did... More

We stayed at Casona colon Inn which is very close to the Plaza and shopping districts in Puno. The room heater in quite inadequate for chilly nights but the hotel did provide multiple blankets to bundle up.The room is not bad considering the rent but the bath particularly the washbasin could have been bigger. Breakfast is complimentary and is just... More

Went to the restaurant to have lunch. The belgian "carbonnades" had no taste at all. the french fries (or should I say "belgian fries") were excellent though, not like the oily half baked potatoes they usually serve in Peru. I had a great Belgian Beer: Duvel. A bit expensive (25 Soles) but worth the price. Service was just regular. The... More

We stayed here as part of a group with two nights over three days. Stayed on the first floor as my wife was not well when we arrived. Room was comfortable and clean. Had the best sleep of our trip on the first night. Heater in the room but only needed to take the edge off at this time of... More

Got to the check-in desk relatively late right before a big group, so the receptionist asked us if he can bring our passports to the room later after he is done with the group. As we didn't want to leave our passports out of our sight, we politely refused and explained that we will be happy to wait. He then... More

We really enjoyed this hotel - we had a nice room with a fairly small bathroom. The beds were very comfortable with thick down dubets and the sheets and towels were of good quality. I have read reviews about problems with the hot water - we had no problems at all with the hot water - we had showers at... More

Great location, good breakfast, helpful staff, comfortable room. We were on the 2nd floor in a room with an internal (curtained) window. A French style minuterie limits disturbance from the corridor light though. A weakness is the lack of hot water in the shower during the day (evenings and mornings were fine). We had come from a home stay on... More

This is a lovely hotel, it is part of the Best Western chain, so as you can imagine it has to be up to a certain standard.. Clean and warm rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant serves lovely food. Excellent value for money.

We stayed here for 2 nights but not consecutively as part of a tour group. The room was nice and clean. The hot water takes 2-5mins to heat up as we learnt through experience from the first night. The second night we stayed was straight after a home stay where we had no showers and had also just completed a... More

Beautiful colonial building, well decorated inside. Great location in the middle of Puno, safe place, rooms quiet even with street noise (2 sets of windows in our rooms) . Friendly staff. Our rooms were large, clean, good bathroom with hot water every day, plenty of blankets and a portable heater, some rooms are darker than others and a bit tired... More
