the hotel is located in the center if Puno near the 'shoppingstreet'. It's a 2-minute walk to a lot of restaurants and souvenirshops. the room was really noisy because of the busy street at the window. we asked to get an other, more silent room. this was no problem. the second room was way better for us.

We stayed for one night on May 29, 2014, when we wanted to visit Lake Titikaka. The hotel is very much in the center of the town. We walked two small blocks and got to this busy street that had all types or restaurants and gift shops. There are also banks and places to exchange money. The room we had... More

If you are not familiar with travelling in South America and compare this hotel to North American hotels, then you will agree with other travelers who talked about noise and non-4-star linens. We found this spartan room (509 with 2 twins and a double bed) to be very clean and comfortable. Blankets did not match, windows have gaps in them... More

Thank you for your comments about the hotel and service, sorry for the street noise... In the following months we are going to change all windows to a full anti-noise system, we are designing a system like our hotel Hacienda Plaza de Armas in Puno. Regards, More

We had a great experience at Hotel Hacienda Puno. When we first arrived, we didn't have change to pay the taxi and the manager paid the taxi for us until we could get smaller bills. They went out of their way to help us feel comfortable. The breakfast was varied and traditional. Although it's true that the rooms with street... More

Puno was our last stop on the trip. When we arrived at the hotel, they gave us a dark windowless room with two beds. I told them it must be a mistake since i booked a triple room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Finally the receptionist gave me a triple. It was facing the busiest street where people and... More

My room (206 I think) was VERY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT THEY SHOW ON PROFESSIONAL PICTURES! See my pics. No window to the outside. Stained old chairs. Cheep blankets (not the fluffy white ones as shown on booking.com, for example), cheep toiletries (again not as on booking.com pics) and large portion of my bathroom was filled with humidity, paint pealing off.... The hotel is very close to the plaza where there are many restaurants and souvenir stores. The location is good, however, the room, especially the washroom is not clean. The rooms facing the street are very noisy. The restaurant in the hotel is good and the breakfast provides a variety of food.

Very nice little hotel in Puno - walking distance to the plaza, pedestrian restaurant area and Lake Titicaca. You can book your excursions to the floating islands at the front desk - the staff were really helpful with suggestions of things to see and do in the area. Decent breakfast to start the day with a great view out over... More

This hotel is on one of the little side streets going to the main Plaza. I found it not very clean, rather old & tired. The tub was falling apart. Some centre rooms have no windows, ours faces the road and it is very noisy. Bars, cars, loud music...difficult when you need to get up early. There is oxygen available... More
