The Best Vacation that I've ever had. I was in Puno many years ago in a hotel in Puno City; but, this hotel made a huge difference: It is front of the Lake, very clean, excellent staff, very quite. Definitively I will return again.

This place was nice, high altitude they had oxygen right at reception if you needed it. They have restaurant downstairs which had good food, especially the Quinoa soup! The rooms were spacious and good, also have spa and pool if you need. Not too far outside of Puno city.

I am glad to write a review about this hotel. Last year, with the occasion of my first trip in Peru, the group I was part stayed in Puno. It was so nosy and unpleasant. During our way to Amaru Muru we had the chance to stop at Taypikala and take lunch. We loved it. So, we said that the... More

We stayed in a couple of the Taypikala hotels this trip and probably wouldn't use them again. The location of this one is outside of the city. Puno itself is not that attractive, so if you have transportation here, it's nice to have the views of Lake Titicaca. Staff were fine and the complimentary breakfast was quite good with both... This was a super quiet hotel, I am not sue we saw but one other guest the entire time. They provided me with an oxygen tank when I needed one and the fish we had was amazing. It was clean and warm, all the I require.

Good, but, not so quiet. The hotel has a good view of the lago Titikaka!!! It's a new hotel. It is a little far from the downtown, but is comfortable. Good staff.

We wanted to stay by Lake Titicaca, but had heard horrible things about Puno - so we went for this hotel, in a small town about 20 minutes drive away from Puno. The hotel is nice, (although I didn't see any spa), and we had a booked a suite, which was really nice. On our second night there, they upgraded... More

The hotel is about half an hour in a taxi along the lake's shore from Puno. It is in a small village and has little facilities other than within the hotel. Even though it was not busy the front desk staff seems slightly sulky and put out that they had customers. This continued when we tried to book some spa... More

This was a very nice hotel and well situated with a view of Lake Titicaca. It was right across the street from an archeological site and a short walk from the charming center of Chucuito. The food was excellent and it was cozy sitting in the dining room with a blazing fire in the fireplace on a cold night. The... More
