Eco hotel on beautiful Lake Titicaca! Raul is amazing! So proud of the island and his heritage! So eager to make our stay everything it could be. Hotel could be updated with new carpeting but was very comfortable. Since it is an eco-hotel the lights go out at 10:00 pm to 6:00 am due to using solar power.Plenty of hot... More

The hotel is very well located, with excellent views of the lake, and easy access. The rooms are very small though, and very dated. Although the bed was excellent. The hot water is a challenge. The main benefit is the location, and very good service from the staff.

Rather landed up at the Libertator by accident, but glad we did! It must be the nicest hotel in Puno, at least we know it has the best location in Puno! That is for sure. The breakfast buffet was probably one of the best - for sure the healthiest - we’ve ever encountered. Simply excellent. Over the course of our... More

This hotel is ideally located on a small island on Lake Titicaca joined to the mainland city of Puno by a short causeway. It was built between 25 and 30 years ago. It is very clean and has fantastic views over the lake. Considering the hotel is rated 5 star the facilities are basic. The rooms are small. There is... More

The Hotel needs major refurbishment; i am sure nothing was done to renovate the hotel since it was built. This hotel was recommended by the tour company as the best in Puno. The service at the hotel was excellent, the major drawback is the hotel is quite old fashion furniture is from 70's. I spent 2 nights i could not... More

This is a very comfortable hotel with lovely views of the lake and Puno. You can watch the sunset from your room. We were close to the floating islands, which was convenient. This hotel is not convenient for walking to town; it is basically on an island, so you are quite isolated in that way. There are oxygen treatments readily... More

Our reason to come to Puno was to visit the floating islands and this hotel suited our need perfectly. The city of Puno has very little to offer and this hotel location provided excellent sunrises and sunsets, a quite environment and quicker access to the tour boats. Some reviews get hung up on some of the minor negative aspects which... More

During a recent trip to Lake Titikaka, my fiancé and I found excellent lodging at this hotel. Situated on a small island in the lake, just outside of Puno, the view it afforded was impressive. We took advantage of an easy to schedule visit to the nearby "floating islands" of the Uros people and enjoyed watching both the sunrise and... More
