A nice hotel but advertised as "air conditioned" Our room was stuffy, no air circulation whatsoever. only heat available. After several requests finally got a fan. Too isolated, casual walks into town out of the question only by taxi view of lake and Puno is good

This fortress on a hill is pretty removed from the main city of Puno. This was not a problem for us as it is a cheap taxi ride out there if you want to make a visit and Puno itself is a bit undesirable. The hotel rooms are fine - modern bathroom, comfy beds, clean. Don't miss out on the... More

The Libertador is the place to stay in Puno. First of all, you are right on the Lake, on a private island with no traffic. The hotel can arrange for a taxi for you no matter how you arrive, and this saved a lot of time. The grounds were excellent, with great views of Titicaca and alpaca wandering around. A... More

Stayed here for two nights as part of tour group. The location on Lake Titicaca is great but views towards the city are much nicer. The hotel needs a serious remodeling. It still looks like it is from 1974 and the bathroom drop down ceiling was awful. The only bright spot about hotel was the restaurant and the food which... More

This is a large out of town hotel. Unfortunately the building is not sympathetic with the surroundings. Room clean but needs up dating. The water in the shower was cold and took several visits to the front desk to rectify. The staff were friendly and willing to call a taxi as it is too far to walk into Puno. The... More

Situated on the shores of Esteves Island, this hotel has wonderful views of Lake Titicaca. It has modern amenities in the central core, but the rooms are small with little space for anything in the room, the bathroom or closet. Rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The bar and lounge were pleasing and the bar food great. The bar... More

The facade of this hotel is very sterile, but if you want to be on Lake Titikaka and watch wild guinea pigs outside of your window, this is a great place to be. The hotel is clean, food is very good, rooms are comfortable and view of the Lake is outstanding. The downside is it is not walking distance to... More

Every room has a wonderful lake view. It is not in the city of Puno which is a plus if you want to rest and minus if you wand to walk the city (but you can order a taxi for a 7 soles). Service is good, as is the breakfast, but the rooms are small and could be updated.

This is a beautiful hotel, very comfortable, with great customer service and delicious food at the restaurant, we had alpaca and it was delicious. The view from our room, the Titikaka lake, was breathtaking. It's a bit far from the centre, but tours will pick you up from the hotel with no extra charge.

I am sure this is the best place to stay on Lake Titicaca. The rooms are small and the bathrooms small, but the views are so stunning you forget all that. The rooms are clean and well appointed with all the necessary items. The lobby has large spaces to sit, play pool, have a drink. Lots of walking trails around... More
