We decided to dish out a bit more $ to stay in a nice hostel after a few days of trekking and found ourselves here at Kuntur. The hostel itself is pretty warm in chilly Puno and the bedrooms were well laid out and clean. Wifi is available both in the lobby and a bit in the rooms with reasonable... More

This is a great option. Room and bathroom spacious, clean and comfortable. Some views over the lake from the room. Short safe walk to the main square and main streets - but the slight uphill on the way back can feel knackering at the altitude! Staff were lovely, and the collection from the bus station was appreciated. Breakfast was really... More

Antonio and Livia were great, picked us up from the bus, organised our tickets to and from copacobana and got us on a brilliant Uros trip between arrival and our nightbus to Cusco. Paid for all our cabs too as he came with us to make sure we got on OK. Amazing how much better your trip gets with an... More

You want to enjoy Puno, the titicaca lake and the beauty of the city as well as keeping a homy feeling, this hotel is perfect for you. When you arrive it feels like you arrive at some friends place. Not only that the welcome is good but the rooms are so cosy, so nicely decorated that you feel like home.... More

Spent 2 nights at this hotel. Really nice owners, clean rooms, hot showers and great breakfast. The owners were really helpful in planning my onward journeys to Copacabana and Arequipa and in organising a last minute tour out to Uros Island. Big breakfast included, 3 blocks from main square and a free transfer from the bus station on arrival. Really... More

A free transfer is included which you should definitely take. I'm usually a fan of walking to a hotel if it's < 2km away, but Puno is HIGH (~4000m above sea level - read: exhausted after climbing 4 steps) and the hotel is up a hill, so you do not want to be walking there. The hotel itself is really... More

This is a very clean hotel with extremely friendly and helpful family running it. Antonio will advise you of the best spots to eat in Puno and arrange local tours to Lake Ttitcaca or Sillistani if required. The hotel was the cleanest we stayed in while travelling in Peru. Breakfast is included and is adequate to start the day. Antonio... More

This is a great value, friendly, family run hotel in a good location in Puno. They offered to pick us up at the bus station but unfortunately we didn't have internet access so didn't get the email. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious. Breakfast is included and is more than enough to start he day. Tea and coffee is... More

This family run hotel is such a great place we came back again a few days later to break up a trip to La Paz. Antonio came and collected us from the train station when we arrived the first time, which was a bonus when taxi drivers in Peru can be hit or miss. The rooms are very clean, comfortable... More
