Edgar and his family are the best host. We love the this lovely B&B, especially the dinner! we had a apricot flavored chicken on the first night, then alpaca burger 2nd night! the alpaca burger was one of the best meal we had in Peru! the house is full of story, every corner is nice decorate. The only thing is... More

Used this as a base for exploring Lake Titicaca. The hospitality was amazing, and I would recommend having an evening meal there. The rooms were adequate, although it get every cold and damp - although this may have been due to the time of year (June). Puno is a dump, with nothing much to do apart from head for the... More

The secret of Casa Panq'arani is in Edgar's assertion that he doesn't need to travel the world because the world comes to him. He and Consuelo clearly enjoy having visitors in their house and this is reflected in their hospitality. From the moment of entry to the momnent of departure, Edgar wasattentive and welcoming, without being at all intrusive, advising... More

Edgar welcomed us into his home - his English far better than our Spanish. There was a pretty garden with the guest rooms upstairs and ours was quaint and comfortable. For breakfast we had cereal, juice and bread, and we also had dinner the first night which was home cooked. Just a ten minute walk to town, and quiet at... More

In the city of Puno there is this beautiful house with a very nice garden. When we arrived we were welcomed with a muña tea. (Muña is a kind of mint that helps against the altitude sickness). At the ground floor a big living room and the kitchen. On the first floor few rooms for guest. The rooms are quite... More

Love the house, Edgar's hospitality and Consuelo's cook. If I come to Puno again, would love to stay here again.

There's a reason la casa panqarani is the Top Choice B&B in the Lonely Planet Guide. Edgar made our stay so enjoyable from arrival to departure; you really feel like a guest staying at a relatives home. We stayed 2 nights in late August. The room located upstairs was quiet and comfortable. August is a cold month so bring layers!... More

We travelled Peru on a shoestring mainly in hostels but decided to treat ourselves to Casa Panqarani for our stay in Puno. It really was lovely - you're led through the tall doors to a pretty little courtyard with flowers and rockeries. Pretty, peaceful place. Our room was nice and comfortable, and after we had taken our bags up Edgar... More

My family stayed here for just one night, in two rooms, on 29 June. We had a great experience here and would highly recommend it for anyone staying in Puno. The rooms had lots of character, were very clean and comfortable, had all the hot water we wanted, and it was so peaceful! From the outside all you see is... More

This place is such a pleasant surprise! An unassuming door leads to a delightful garden and stairs to a rustic undercover verandah. Room was spacious, bedding comfortable and warm, and good hot water in the shower. The hosts were the most welcoming I have encountered - Edgar organised a homestay visit to the islands for me over dinner, as well... More
