There's a reason la casa panqarani is the Top Choice B&B in the Lonely Planet Guide. Edgar made our stay so enjoyable from arrival to departure; you really feel like a guest staying at a relatives home. We stayed 2 nights in late August. The room located upstairs was quiet and comfortable. August is a cold month so bring layers!... More

We travelled Peru on a shoestring mainly in hostels but decided to treat ourselves to Casa Panqarani for our stay in Puno. It really was lovely - you're led through the tall doors to a pretty little courtyard with flowers and rockeries. Pretty, peaceful place. Our room was nice and comfortable, and after we had taken our bags up Edgar... More

My family stayed here for just one night, in two rooms, on 29 June. We had a great experience here and would highly recommend it for anyone staying in Puno. The rooms had lots of character, were very clean and comfortable, had all the hot water we wanted, and it was so peaceful! From the outside all you see is... More

This place is such a pleasant surprise! An unassuming door leads to a delightful garden and stairs to a rustic undercover verandah. Room was spacious, bedding comfortable and warm, and good hot water in the shower. The hosts were the most welcoming I have encountered - Edgar organised a homestay visit to the islands for me over dinner, as well... More

We only stayed one night here, but were very satisfied with the accommodation and touched by the warm service we received! Edgar was so helpful as the tour company we had organised tickets to Bolivia with never showed up - he drove us to the bus station and got us tickets for a cheaper price! Lovely dinner and breakfast :)

Very welcoming inn. The owner helped us map out where we wanted to go in the city and provided a great breakfast for us early in the morning. Beds were very comfortable. Definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here for two nights in mid June. The guesthouse is excellently located less than ten minutes walk from the main plaza. Our room and bathroom were a decent size, with a hot shower and an extremely comfortable bed. The real strength of this place however lies with Edgar and Consuela who show real sincerity in their welcome and... More

It's all about the floating islands in Puno, but this casa although a little on the expensive side is beautiful. The rooms are lovely with Hugh ceilings, and good beds. The bathrooms are a great size with a lovely shower (rarity in SA)! Breakfast is good with cereal, yoghurt, juice, bread and eggs. Edgar the owner is lovely, he helped... More

Edgar and Ursula are excellent hosts and really treat their guests like family. In addition, Edgar helped us with booking tours and our onward travel to Chivay. The rooms were very clean, plenty of hot water, delicious breakfasts in a warm and cozy BnB. The location was excellent and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We had... More

The hosts, Edgar and Consuela, were extremely welcoming, lovely and helpful. We arrived in Puno planning to do a homestay on one of the islands in Lake Titicaca and within minutes Edgar had helped us to sort it all out. The place is lovely and the decoration gives it a tranquil feel. Rooms are spacious and clean with hot water.... More
