We only stayed one night here but it was a lovely refuge! The beds are comfortable and the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The roms are set around a beautiful colonial garden and is a welcome oasis from the busy streets of Puno. Asking for dinner is a great idea but make sure you bring a healthy appetite!

We knocked on their doors at 6 in the morning hoping to get a room after 12h in the bus. Unfortunately we didn't have an Internet in the jungle for days so it was impossible to book anything in advance. It was great to hear there will be room available in the afternoon and we can leave our backpacks safe.... More

Edgar came to pick us up at the bus terminal when we arrived from Chivay. From the very first moment I saw him I knew that we had chosen the right place to stay in Puno! When he opened the door, we discovered a delightful courtyard with lovely plants and birds flying inside. The noisy and ugly streets of Puno... More

I usually stay in hostels when i travel but this time, i couldn't find a good one so i chose to stay in a bed & breakfast. And i don't regret it! Edgar and Ursula were great. They made me feel at home. Spacious and clean room/bathroom. Good breakfast. 10mins walk from the center of Puno. Edgar was always available.... More

I stayed at this B&B two nights w my mom and two nights solo. The owners are really lovely people and very, very helpful. They arranged for us bus tickets on several occasions (including making reservations in advance and accompanying us to the bus terminal personally in order to pick up the tickets), a very nice Uros/Tanquille boat tour (w... Edgar and Consuela were wonderful hosts during our stay in in Puno. Casa Panqarani is a comfortable place to stay. We had a sudden change of plans and Edgar was able to accommodate us and have us stay a night earlier than we expected. Consuela's cooking was outstanding. We only stayed for one night, but simply loved it. The nicest hosts, beautiful courtyard with garden, very nice rooms and big bathrooms with an excellent hot shower (the best we had in all Peru!). In the mornings you are served the yummiest breakfast. I just loved their bread! Everything about this place is nice and its not even expensive... More

You might want to check out Pune just because of this great B&B, maintained by Edgar and Consuelo. I found them here on TripAdvisor and it was the best place that I could have stayed. Pune itself isn't the most beautiful city in Peru, but staying at Casa Panqarani, while you visit the Titicaca Lake, surely will make the difference.... More

The house is just beautiful. Ursula and Edgar made us feel like home. They helped us at all time, even to book our tours which pick you up from the hotel and have a convenient price. The reservation was easy and they answered very fast to our email.

In all my years of travel this may be the most memorable place I've ever stayed. From the moment I stepped into the beautiful courtyard of their home, the owners were welcoming and wonderful. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable, and during a morning spent recovering from altitude sickness it was great to just relax in a sunny swing... More
