Very warm people, running a sweet hotel. Very quite and safe spot. Don;t forget eating in-house!! The best food you can get in Puno, no doubt. TIP: Avoid the little room in the garden, since it is not as good as the others on the upper deck.

We stayed here for 2 nights in total, either side our trip to Lake Titicaca. The family that runs this place organised our 2 day/1 overnight trip to Lake Titicaca (Family Homestay on Amantani Island) via one of their friends companies. Our whole trip to Puno/LT was incredible and a highlight of our 3 week holiday in Peru with our... More

We stayed a few nights in Casa Panqarani in Puno. We slept in a spacious room with a king size bed, and a private bathroom. Casa Panqarani is built around a beautiful small courtyard/garden. The location of Casa Panqarani is perfect : around 10/15 min by walk to reach the center town - and Titicaca lake is not far. In... More

We stayed here after home stays in Llacon and Isla Tikanota and the accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Edgar was extremely gracious and helpful. The rooms are cold everywhere due to the cold outside temps at night but our room had a space heater that was very much appreciated. The shower was wonderfully hot and much needed. After you get... Puno is not the most terrific looking city. Good place to leave from if you want to visit Lake Titicaca. But Casa Panqarani is a hidden gem in this ugly city. It's a beautiful place to stay. You enter via the garden downstairs and upstairs are the rooms, spacious and a great shower with free shampoo and soap. Great place... More

Casa Panqarani offers guests a warm and welcoming home to stay while in Puno. The owners were extremely hospitable and thoughtful, accommodating our early departures. The house and gardens are full of character and charm and the rooms are clean with individual bathrooms.

Apart from the very nice and clean room and bathroom, the hospitality was great. We had already checked out and left for a trip to the Titicaca Lake. When we came back - tired and without showering for two days - we asked if it would be possible to take a short shower, we even said we would paid for... More

We stayed here for 1 night in late May. We choose to book this place based on the reviews and recommendation in lonely planet. We expected a very warm and homely feel and choose to stay here hoping to connect with the hosts and others. On arrival the owner (Edgar) greeted us warmly but failed to even introduce himself or... During a monthly trip to South America we stayed in really nice places and we had high expectations for Casa Panqarani based on the reviews. I booked a room online and got a confirmation. When we arrived Edgar opened the door and looked at us as they were not expecting anyone or that we knocked wrong door. There was no... More

The great reviews are true. The Casa Panq'arani is a gem and its proprietors are wonderfully nice and helpful. Puno is not exactly the prettiest city in Peru, unless of course you have only seen Juliaca, but once you cross the threshold into Edgar and Consuela's flower filled courtyard, you feel relieved and relaxed. The bed was comfortable and the... More
