The room we had was clean but needs a bit of TLC as it looked tired. The staff were friendly and helped us to arrange some trips. Free coca tea was provided throughout the day, and breakfast was more extensive here than in any other place that we stayed at whilst in Peru. It is about a 15 minute walk... More

Only problem we had here was that our shower was cold quite often. Otherwise it was a good place to stay! Quite cheap! A very short tuk tuk ride away from everything (and trust me, in Puno you want to take advantage of the tuk tuks coz they're SO MUCH FUN! haha). Definitely would recommend this place to others. Good... More

- USD$22 a night - No hairdryer provided - Service at the counter is a hit and miss. Some can speak english. Free coca tea provided at the front reception and free 15min usage for the communal computer. - Most noisiest spot in town because the hotel is just at the corner of a T-junction. - There is a traffic... I am currently sitting in Marlon's House in Puno. I would much rather be out seeing Puno, but having trekked the Colca Canyon yesterday I need a hot shower to get clean before I go sight seeing. Marlon's House advertises hot water twenty-four hours a day, but there has been no hot water for more than two hours. The housekeeping... More

We (a couple) stayed here for two nights and while Puno wasn't the greatest town, we really liked Marlon's House. Showers were always hot, breakfast was great, a buffet and also eggs served to you. Rooms were large and clean. It is definitely more of a hotel than a hostel, so don't expect to meet people here. Booked a short... More

We only stopped on the way through from Copacabana to Cusco, with enough time to check out the reed islands. Marlon's House was fine for that. Room: We had the triple room, which was 100soles in total (we managed to negotiate a slight discount). The room was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the room had a private bathroom which... Wifi worked maybe 10% of the time. Breakfast is from 6:15 to 9 but if you actually want food you have to get there before 7 as nothing is restocked. Rooms were spacious and cleaned every day. Our room faced the street so there was a ton of noise at all hours of the day. There was also some sort... More

This is an excellent hostel choice. It was really clean, very friendly staff and has all the amenities. The breakfast is a buffet breakfast and the best i´ve had in any hostel anywhere!! The location is decent and only a 10 minute walk from the very centre.

After 6.5 months on the road it's nice to find a backpackers that feels like home! We was on the fourth floor, there you will find a comfy lounge with TV And DVD player, there's even a table football! Our room was great, the best part is the amazing view from the roof. Breakfast was good with eggs done the... More

Really the (free) breakfast they have there is the best I have ever had in a hostel- everything you can wish for! Dorm rooms are nice, beacause there are only 3 beds. common areas are chilling, tv, dvd players, couches, free tea and coffee. The staff is very helpful!perfect if you need some peace in a busy town like puno.
