Stayed two nights, was a truly peaceful stay. Rooms are beautiful with a great view of the lake. Service was great and morning buffet was delicious with a large variety of things to choose from. What i liked most was the atmosphere. The decorations stayed true to the incan culture and was a very spiritual place with high positive energy.... More

It was a great pleasure to spend some days in the property and be a special guest of Jorge Luis Delgado. Rooms are with amazing view to the lake and you can enjoy the sunrise from your bed! Plenty of fruits at breakfast, great lobby areas and decorations on rhe walls with ancient textiles. Me and my group wanted to... More

All rooms are lake view and it makes the reservation priceless. I loved looking at the thunders and lighting in the mountains at night from my room. Also, waking up with a bright sun and lake is something magical. Beds are big and comfortable. Rooms are spacious and heated. While I was getting to the hotel, I looked around to... More

We had a Spacious room with a good view. The room had a fireplace that came in handy because the space heater in the room was useless. The waitstaff at the restaurant were pleasant but the food was uninspiring. The tour agency representing the hotel arranged a great trip to the islands for us. Unfortunately, our room had a strong... The hotel rooms are clean, spacious, nicely furnished and have beautiful views. The dining room and halls have great views also, but the pool is not very inviting. (We didn't use it or see other guests using it). The elevator wasn't working and we were staying on the 4th floor. Nobody offered to help us with our backpacks and we... More

That's about all of the Spanish that I know. The Taypikala is a wonderful hotel, and they are located in a good area for sightseeing, walking. The staff helped my wife and me with directions and answered our questions intelligently. The wifi is excellent. Also, they have oxygen because of the altitude in Puno. Our room was very clean and... A lovely hotel with stunning views of the lake. The rooms were some of the best we have experienced in our travels and the staff friendly and helpful. Its a fair way out of Puno (45mins) so going there for activities meant arriving late and leaving early with little time to really enjoy the place. We ate there on our... More

I've been traveling solo in South America for about three months and got very sick in Puno. Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights trying to make the most of the time and recoup for the rest of the long trip. The first thing I was told was that the elevator was broken and it remained so for the full... More

The Taypikala Hotel Lago was the nicest hotel I stayed in while traveling in Peru. The room was spacious, the bathroom was roomy, the beds were comfortable and the view was to die for. The breakfast buffet was the most varied and had wonderful additions such as bread and a toaster. The triangular dinner rolls were a huge hit with... More
