We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a tucan travel group tour. It has great rooms- nice and spacious as well as clean and comfortable and the shower always had hot water when needed. Unfortunately, we found our room to be quite noisy- perhaps this is hard to avoid with having such a good location within... More

Right in the middle of the main pedestrianised area in Puno. Couldn't ask for a better location. The reception staff are nice and helpful and got a taxi for us at 6 in the morning. The shower was not hot in the morning but was fine in the evening. The decor is fine, it's a bit of a dark, cold... More

The hotel is situated very close to the center of Puno, staff was very friendly and had always a smile. Ask for a heater if you want one it can get cold (October 2013). Breakfast was simple, as almost everywhere in Peru you get the same simple (hard and dry) buns. Would definitely recommend the hotel because of the location,... More

Located on the corner of Jr. Deza and Jr. Lima (note that both Google and Apple Maps show the location incorrectly - in fact, most hotels in Puno are also incorrect), the Hostal is only four blocks from the Plaza de Armas and two blocks from the train station. It is quite compact, five floors of rooms around a central... More

Very clean hotel. We went away for a night to Lake Titicaca and when we came back they forgot our towels but that was the biggest issue we had. Which wasn't even really a big issue at all! There is about 6 or 7 levels to this hotel which isn't an issue day to day, but when you have a... More

Is very close to everything and you do not have the need to take taxis to visit the most important places in the city. The staff. They were extremely helpful in planning our stay not only at their hotel, in booking tours, helping laundry, transfers and the most important great showers, hot water the whole day.... Clean, comfortable, near the city-center,... More

This is a fantastic 3 star hotel in Puno - very close to all the action in downtown/city center. A great place. Rooms are nice - it is a 3 star hotel and the breakfast is good and worth it The front desk staff were friendly and helpful in spite of their limited command of English - but it was... More

The receptionist was incredibly helpful, the room was nice and clean, the water was hot, breakfast was typical of our stay in Peru- but we were freezing throughout our stay. Our first night we all slept in our coats under all of the blankets- for me, hat, scarf, pants, socks included! The second night we asked for a heater and... More

Even though I usually stay in budget hotels such as this, I am rather demanding, asking lots of questions and making many requests. I must honestly say they did a great job keeping me happy. They never said..I'm too busy..or maybe later..or no, we can't...they helped me right away and made sure that everything was fine..and it was FINE..the room... More
