We stayed here during our visit to the Uros Islands. Modern hotel with water-facing rooms, excellent staff and a pleasant restaurant and lobby area. The view from the floor to ceiling windows is somewhat marred by a looming cell phone tower. Very convenient for trips to the Uros, the boat docks right across from the hotel. Crossing the street should... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay here, Rooms were lovely and large service was really good. Food in restaurant was nice, service in restaurant was wonderful as was the service in the bar. The hotel is a 15 minute taxi ride from town (15 soles) which is a plus point and the views from the room over... More

Although is far away from night activity and sopping areas, the hotel is a very nice place to spending a peaceful evening. The dinning with the night view of the lake and Puno is extraordinary, the food is great and the service; excellent. The problem with this hotel are the rooms, they still have huge and bulked tvs stuck to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights with a group of 43 in 21 cars as part of a car rally. The hotel is outside the town where there is really nothing to see. The main purpose to visit here is to see Lake Titicaca. Having stayed at some mixed hotels along our route, this was a pleasant surprise - a... More

We spent 2 nights here as part of a 10 day organized tour of Peru a few weeks ago. The beauty of the location is that on the day of our trip to the Uros Islands, it was a simple walk across the street in front of the hotel to the dock where we boarded the tour boat. The downside... More

When you arrive in Puno you see two large white hotels on either side of the bay. This is the one on the south side of the bay. Good wifi, but only in the lobby like all Peru hotels. Great breakfast and a good dining room. All rooms have outstanding views as does the lobby and dining room. A 15... More

We spent 2 nights last week at Puno in the Hotel Jose Antonio. Magnificent views across Lake Titicaca, clean comfortable room but most of all the attention and friendliness of the staff, in particular Fermin who cared for us in the dining room. I had been ill and in hospital for a day just before we arrived. Fermin took personal... More

We spent two nights recently in the Hotel Jose Antonio in Puno, Peru and were so impressed with the beautifiul location next to Lake Titikaka, as well as the lovely dining room setting where we were served delicious meals. Our table servers were most willing to treat us like royalty - and made wonderful Pisco Sours in style!! Fenolin (spelling?)... More

I had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. There was an excellent view of Lake Titicaca. Service was excellent. There were large flat screen televisions in the rooms. There was free wi-fi only in the common areas, not in the rooms.

The location opposite Lake Titicaca is amazingly romantic, especially at night with the city light glowing. The rooms and customer service has been very good so far. We are staying for 2 nights and we will see if there is a difference. However, the staff have been very accommodating to any issued brought to their attention and dealt with expediency.... More
