It's a beautiful lodge with incredible facilities considering the location - a good buffet restaurant, bar, shop, massage, WiFi. The rooms are also attractive and spacious with a flushing toilet (a novelty after the Inca Trail) and a shower - though the shower is cold, not that you want a hot shower here! There's no electricity in the room, though... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Definitely worth the money. Excellent food. Amazing open rooms. Lots of things to do/see. Cold showers but what do you expect in the jungle! More

This a great hotel for those who truly want to unplug and get back to nature. It is a beautiful lodge located in the Tambopata Reserve. It is not for the faint of heart though. There is no hot water, no electricity in the rooms, no locks on the doors and an open wall overlooking the jungle. But if you... More

We went as part of a grand tour of Peru with llama travel in the UK. We had no idea what to expect having only seen 'an idiot abroad' on tv. It was a lovely boat ride to the lodge and we arrived in the dark. What an amazing sight to see in the jungle. Even though most of the... More

After a 3 hour boat trip - and after spotting a Jaguar on the banks of the river, we arrived at the Lodge. It was truly amazing, we were offered cool towels and a cold drink and shown to our rooms, beautiful, open to the jungle, very clean and a lovely cold shower. at night the staff put down your... Highly recommended, the rooms and bathrooms are really nice and very romantic when candle lit. Lodge was peaceful, loved all the bird sounds. The hikes were great, our guide (Andrea) was super nice and friendly, and we really enjoyed having meals with other people of the group, makes you feel at home. Totally worth it! More

The agents met us at Puerto Maldonado airport, and we then had a 5 minute ride back to their office for refreshments, bag drop-off and introduced to our personal guide. Then it was about an hour minibus ride followed by a wonderful three hour boat trip up the Tambopata River until we finally arrived at the lodge at dusk. The... More

We stayed here for three nights as part of a Journey Latin America package, between stays in Lima and Cuzco. It was awesome - everything a jungle lodge experience should be. The experience started with a 45-minute bus ride and then a three-hour boat trip from Puerto Maldonado/Infierno (Hell). Sitting in the motorised canoe heading up the Tambopata River we... More

A great experience..the lodge was much more luxurious than I expected! The rooms do only have 3 walls so you can get "close"to the jungle! The beds have mosquite nets! The room has a hammock (sadly only one!) and a safe..no door just a curtain! No hot water either..only cold showers! A library upstairs in the main lodge has 5... More

My friends and I booked a 4 day-3 night stay here and had a fantastic time. I loved every second of this trip. The website is clear that there isn't electricity or hot water and that one wall of the rooms opens to the jungle, so we were expecting the place to be really primitive. To our surprise, it was...
