I have given the lodge 4 stars because we genuinely had a fantastic time. The jungle tours were amazing, and although we didn't get to see any big animals, it is after all the jungle and animals don't appear on cue, it still did not disappoint. The lodge itself is beautiful, the chalets are spacious and have an authentic feel.... More

Victor picked us up from the airport with a huge smile and in seconds we knew we are in good hands. The next 4 days were UNBELIEVABLE AND UNFORGETTABLE ! The accommodations are clean, roomy and much more than we expected. No hot water, but it's understandable ... The food is VERY good and the pool + game room are... More

I went to this lodge with a Group of Australian exchange students from uni in Peru and I think I can speak for everyone when I say it was amazing!! During our stay the lodge was doing renovations, however, this didn't affect us at all fortunately! The outside hammocks are a perfect spot for a Pisco sour and siesta and... More

This place was good, but some things bothered me, so I will list the pros and cons. Pros: Good food; Lots of opportunities to go on jungle activities; Big swimming pool; Lots of birds and lizards; and Friendly staff that speak many languages. Cons: The lodge is showing its age; Just a little bit too expensive; The bar was only... More

My wife and my brother and his wife stayed at the lodge for 4 days/3 nights at the end of dry season in September. Our flight was a little late but a guide named Walter picked us up from the airport and took us to the river in an open air bus for a 1.25 hour boat ride downriver to... More

Here you will find the description of what happened in the Eco Amazonia Lodge. When we arrived at the airport of Puerto Maldonado on the 4th of July, with several hours of delay cause to the bad weather conditions, we had to wait half an hour more for a group of people still to arrive with a following flight. Then... More

Being in the Amazon is amazing. The things I'll remember the most are the noises at night which were amazing. The tours were very good & helped to see a lot of wildlife & fauna. The hotel itself is good but basic as you should expect from somewhere in the middle of the Amazon! Electricity was limited from 5-10pm which... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Loved it here! Great experience, friendly staff. Met on arrival with a welcome drink in the scorching heat! Loved hearing the sound of the wildlife at night and especially being woken up by the water humming bird in the morning! The lodges were very rustic but you still had hot water and electricity for... We stayed in this lodge in November 2014.   We were picked by their staff from the airport.  We were then transferred to the lodge by boat.  This journey took around 1.5 hours.  When we arrived at the lodge we were welcomed with a drink and assigned our rooms.  We immediately noticed that the rooms and the lodge are well maintained.... My husband and I traveled with 2 other adults from California (US) late November and stayed at the EcoAmazonia Lodge in the Amazon for 2 nights through a Living Social 12 day Peru/Amazon deal through Kaypi Tours. Kaypi selected this lodge. Pros -All meals were provided; Food was very good, fresh, tasted home cooked, and was filling -Excursions included (we... More
