We had great fun at this hotel, and made full use of the swimming pool. The food was decent, the building was secure, and the rooms were spacious. As with anywhere in Puerto Maldonado it can get a bit noisy. tips: * Be careful of electric shock (I've been zapped at many places in this part of the world). *... More

The rooms are clean and is an ok size. The pool could be a bit cleaner though. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the main plaza. You can hear the road from some of the rooms right for the reception.

We stayed at this hotel for one night afer leaving the jungle. I would not stay here any longer. The rooms are hot and noisy the shower runs on electricity and I got a zap of the shower head when I tried to move it. The hotel is a bit out dated, but breakfast was good and if your only... More

I only stayed here for one night, and thank goodness. After staying in some great place in Peru, this place was just not up to par. Although it is supposedly the best place to stay in Peurto Maldona, I was lacking. The room was definitely dated and small. The shower head had wires going to it, and while I was... More

We stayed here overnight in early August (2014). First impression -- Very Good! Hotel transportation was waiting for us at the airport with a sign. Our room was small, simple, and clean. The grounds were clean and well kept. The air conditioning worked well. There was a computer room with computer access for guests -- used by my wife. The... More

Very good service all-around, nice rooms, great breakfast (included). We stayed in one of the matrimonial bungalows, which was spacious and very comfortable, with air conditioning. We were with a large group of around 80 people for a campaign and the hotel attended us all very well. The pool didn't look very clean, and so we didn't use it- that... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights in October 2013, first they could not find my booking but arranged a room for me anyway. The room was small and simple and I always had difficulties opening the door. The facilities was good and the pool was very appriciated. Good location.

From SFO to the jungle in the same day was pushing it, so we decided to spend a day in Puerto Maldonado prior to heading down the Madre de Dios to the EcoAmazonia Lodge. The Cabana Quinta is clean, safe and modern with a dedicated PC WiFi lounging area for re-charging and re-connecting before heading into the communication dead zones... More

We Left Dallas via AA, after going thru Lima Customs, it was about 2am. So we grabbed a bite and drink at the StarBucks, we updated Friends and Family using SBs WiFi. We took naps on the Comfy Chairs at our gate. We came prepped with pillows, lite blankies and jackets. Waking up around 7am due to the Gate area... More

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room we stayed in had a bit of a bug repellent smell, or cleaning supply smell, so if you are very sensitive to this, it might not be the best option (though our rooms were bug free :)). The hotel has a swimming pool, computers, games etc. so we were well entertained. The... More
