The perfect spot on a bend in the river with fantastic views from the hammocks and other seating areas. Very clean with good food. Made very welcome by the French lady owner (Annie) and had the most informative and enthusiastic guide in Frank, with a great sense of humour too. Very basic, no hot water, no power, rooms separated only... More

We did the 4D/3N jungle experience at the Cayman Amazonia Lodge. We had an awesome time! Our guide Efrain (but also the other guides) are very enthusiastic and friendly and did all they could to make us see the wildlife. The lodge is basic with cold water shower and no electricity, but this adds up to the jungle experience :-)... More

We stayed here as part of a group along with many other groups. The setting is brilliant, there are hammocks and chairs that overlook the river which is really nice at sunset. Bungalow rooms are basic but what more do you expect in the jungle? Cold shower was welcoming after a day trekking through the jungle. Wellies are provided so... More

Forget the jungle in Asia... go to the Amazone. Never seen so much animals from Caymans to Anacondas. Great lodge, basic as there is no electricty (you get candles) or hot water but who cares you are in the rainforest. Nice hammocks and good restaurant. Free popcorn at the bar. And they provide you with boots, so you don't ruine... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of an organized tour in Peru. It was an absolutely incredible experience and I would definitely recommend it. The lodge provides everything you need and the staff are so friendly. The cabin provides candles for light at night and comfortable beds with mosquito nets. I was surprised to find a little private... More

Whilst the complex is in a peaceful setting, the stairs, boardwalks and railings are poorly maintained and flimsy. You need to be really steady on your feet and weigh no more than 5kgs to stay safe. While we wew there, my wife and I nearly took a fall, but another lady in our group did hit the ground when waling... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our intrepid tour. Annie(who is the owner) and our guide Uri were very warm and welcoming! Lodge is very pretty with hammocks overlooking the river! Rooms were very clean and tidy and thank god for those mosquito nets over the bed! We did the night tour, day tour and cayman which... More

We arrived for a 3 night/4 day stay. Our guide stuffed up our accommodation and food allergy arrangements but the Hotel staff went above and beyond to help correct this. The accommodation is simple but clean and in working order with running cold water showers and flushing toilets. There is no electricity in the rooms but plenty of candles are... More

It is seldom to find lodges with such a good organization travelling here in Peru. Our guide Jocelyne picked us up from the airport at Puerto Maldonado and from that moment they took care of us. We loved the lodge, beautiful gardens with view to the river Tambopata, clean rooms, very friendly staff, my son play football with the guys... More

We were on an Intrepid tour and I highly recommend this company It's a jungle lodge so accomodation is very basic and much better than early explorers would of enjoyed. Spartan rooms, decent bed, mosquito nets, ensuite with cold shower and toilet. The owner and staff were excellent always there with advice and even let us watch a world cup... More
