We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights as part of our Exodus trip. The accommodation is basic, but all you need. The food was fantastic, the staff super friendly (we even played football with them on the staff football field), our guide Franck was the best, the lodge gardens very pretty and well looked after. No complaints, everything was... More

It's almost an hours drive along a dirt road just to get to the boat that will take you the further two hours deep into the amazon. So you know you're going to be far from civilisation and roughing it a bit! Cayman lodge is unbelievable though. So well set up. The rooms are simple and basic but remember you're... More

Stayed 2 nights had a great time with my 21 year old daughter as part of a larger group of 12. Our guides Efrain and Livio lead us on night tour of the jungle for about an hour before tea and a full day tour to the lake the next day.The full day tour involves trekking approx 6 klms to... More

We were a group of 4 women and when we arrived we were told to spend one night in a nearby lodge because they didn't have available rooms although we had booked months in advance. It turns out that we stayed in the staff quarters 10 minutes down river. Then, they didn't have boots my size due to over booking... More

I spent four days last February and we had an incredible time. The jungle is amazing! We had a great guide, Livio, who was very friendly and took a lot of time to explain us things during our walks. We went 9 km into the jungle... no a very frequent thing to live. Also, the owner Anna is an excellent... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Geckos tour. Our room was large enough, neat and tidy, with a mozzie net over each bed. Each accommodation building has a high thatched roof, under which each room is timber walled with a mesh ceiling and window, so beware you will hear everyone around you! Bathrooms are neat and... Minimal accommodations, minimal attractions. The online photos looked amazing. The actual place was pretty run down. When we arrived, we went into the office to pay. They refused any US dollars that weren't perfectly new, which they didn't mention ahead of time. Be sure to bring your own form of entertainment because there's a lot of down time.

We stayed for 3 nights/4 days and it was an incredible experience. The first hike was very intense (nearly 10 miles), but the sights, sounds, and info provided by our guide (Rony) made it an experience we will never forget. I have read complaints about no hot water for the showers.. Trust me, the last thing in the world you... More

We stayed here for the 3 night/4 day package, organised via Exodus as the 'Amazon Extension'. We enjoyed the location, next to the river, with Jungle all around - amazing bird life and dawn chorus. We did the night walk, boat trip to the Macaw clay lick, caiman spotting at night, and walk to the Lake. Lovely guide, Ronnie. Be... More

The lodges were very cute, as was the whole property. There were lounge chairs and hammocks to relax in. Ferns galore around. Birds chirping. The stars at night are amazing. And yes, as others said, there is no hot water. And yes, you really do feel that sting the first time you have a cold shower. The cold water can... More
