This hotel has potential to be a great hotel because its big and it gives me the impression it once was a very nice place but time has done disasters with it. The administration must be very bad as it all looks old broken and dirty. It has a beautifull view to the river and a nice deck to sit... More

This is probably one of the nicest hotels in ciudad del este. It is a good place to hang out. But It is far from just about everywhere and the only way to get to the hotel is by a cab ride (which adds up). The restaurant neither offers many dinner options nor does it have a selection of wines;... More

They charged us $160 for one might in thier tiniest room because they had extra charges for everything. That doesn't even include how we had to pay $15 on a taxi every time we came or left since its so far away from the city. The breakfast was terrible also- only fruit and breads.

This is the worst hotel i have ever been to. They have no restaurant within the week. Only on weekends. Since the hotel is situated in a country club, there is no way you can get anything close by. You must have a car or call a cab in order to drive to the nearest restaurant, 2kms away!!. When i... More

The hotel looks like three private homes connected by lovely gardens, pools, and outbuildings, all overlooking the Parana river and the expanse of green beyond it. Each building has a comfortable interior living room available to the adjacent rooms as well as terraces. I have read reviews about well appointed rooms. Ours was not. It was very modest, but serviceable:... More

I stayed here on a very short trip. The checking in process is fairly slow but the staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are dated, boring, and bare. The bathrooms are very dated and the fixtures need replacing. However, the room was clean, quite, and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is a nice experience. Sitting on the deck and... More

I chose to stay here because of the impressive pictures & worthy recommendation from my parents 2003 stay & Iguassu falls visit. I am glad i did as i dont think i could have chosen a better hotel in the vicinity of Brasil, Argentina or Paraguay to satisfy the purpose of my visit. The staff is great; very humble &... More

We made our reservation to stay at this hotel the same day we stayed there (due to changed plans due to the volcano in Chile). We arrived very late as we took a bus from Asuncion. Our biggest problem with the hotel was immediate- location. Our taxi driver at the bus station had no idea where it was, even with... More

we stayed 3 nights in this lovely small hotel which lays along the Parana river The situation is very calm & quiet in a secured area (closed compound with a golf course nearby), the staff is extremely nice & careful, the architecture is lovely (colonial style); rooms are large and well equipped. Breakfast is complete and meals are available by... More
