I've been in this lodge for 3 nights (I arrived today) and the instalations are very bad. Too dificult to have water and electricity. Yhere were aunts in my bed and I woke up every night with them. The food was terrible: in 6 meals, 5 fry fish with fry banana. The boat was very old. I paid 147 dolars... More

We arrived by a small 6 seat airplane a wonderful way to start our experience. We proceeded by boat( very rustic) to our island , the trip by boat takes about 20 min . The island consists of 3 cabins and a main house for eating . The island is no bigger than a football field. Our guide Rey was... More

I read some of the opinions and it seems the owners are never there on the island to fix things or at least put some more money to improve the place. I just spent two nights and i knew to where i was going. The idea was to disconnect from everything so the commodities were basic. Rey the guide worked... More

We spent 3 nights there and left totally relaxed. This is the perfect relaxing getaway - but be clear on what kind of accommodations you are expecting - no room service, no hot water, no internet (unfortunately cell service has now found this corner of the world), intermittant electricity - just simple, rustic and beautiful Kuna Lodge. Showers are cool... More

SOOOOOO RELAXING and the people at Dad Ibe are marvelous and so generous. They even let me borrow a canoe to paddle to the nearby islands! Our guide Rei and his group of people at Dad Ibe will try to make your stay as memorable as possible. Don't forget to brush up on your Spanish! Also, don't expect anything but... More

We were initially planning a honeymoon in Costa Rica and looking for an indigenous lodge when we came across Dad Ibe Lodge website. Thus Panama became part of our trip. Out of all the kuna lodges we found, this one was miles ahead in our view, in that it is owned by a Real indigenous Kuna Family and it is... More

If you are looking for a relaxing place to get away and also experience some of the indigenous Kuna Yala culture, this is the place to go. Its difficult to fully describe the experience but I will say that the service was always friendly and thoughtful, the setting was always laid back, and there was adequate structure and free time... A relaxing and comfortable Rustic lodge, very good value for money. There are no radios/televisions/computers. It is a wonderful place to escape all of our day-to-day communications. I went by myself and felt totally safe. Must be a adventure seeker those looking for five star resort this is not for you. Bring books, cards, activities - you will love to... More

My wife has always wanted to go to the San Blas islands. We went with another couple and actually our first night another couple we knew was there. Please let me assure you that I did research and I understood that this is rustic. I wasn’t expecting a Holiday Inn or anything. Still there are some things that I think... More

I don't have any complaints about our two nights stay here in Dad Ibe Lodge. If you like adventure and the outdoors then this is the place for you. I greatly enjoyed the tours out to different locations, rainforest, private islands etc. I love this place ! It's not for travelers who need wifi or television. it's a pure getaway... More
