We spent 3 dates and 2 nights in coco blanco. I have one word to say -wow!!! We are a family with 2 children ages 7;10. We enjoyed every moment. Our host mr. Alonso did his best to keep us happy. The rooms are Coleen and the hole cabana area is kept clean, we were served 3 meals but also... More

It was a big adventure to visit the small San Blas Island. The hut was in a poor condition and no water functioning. We were given fish every lunch and dinner for three days, which was OK, but the breakfast was poor. The trip to other small islands great and in particular to stay in the pool in the sea.... More

The San Blas islands are remote and beautiful if you can not fly the road trip is tough and the boat ride to the island takes a while. We paid to spend one night with 3 meals in a thatched hut with a private bathroom-the bathroom had the fixtures (toilet, sink, shower) however no plumbing-so nothing was functioning. The huts were arranged motel... Staying at the Coco Blanco Island was one of our greatest experiences. Of course if you're looking for a luxury resort San Blas is not your place, but Coco Blanco is by far the best option in the Kuna Yala area. The owners are educated people, very kind and gentle and you can get an interesting Kuna culture talk with... More

To live among kuna people in a paradise island is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Enjoy white sand beaches, see beautiful rays snorkling and feel the caribbean breeze! Despite all the beautys, you will find modest accommodations (which is part of the experience), tipical food prepared by Ligia, the Kuna owner of the island (Rice with coconut, patacon -... More

This was my second trip to San Blas. My first trip, to Kuanidup, was certainly memorable but I came away wanting accomodations that where just a bit less rustic. Researching online, Coco Blanco seemed to be that and to a certain extent, it was. Private bathrooms with flush toilets - they do have them. "Private" is meant in that no... More

Coco Blanco is a wonderful island, in paradise, but ridiculously crowded in high season. I was hoping for a relaxing and quiet stay, on an almost-deserted island... I was so disapointed when I realized there was 45 people seeking for the same thing on this tiny island (it took me 4 minutes to make a "around-the-island" movie). The sheets were... More

San Blas is certainly one of the most beautiful places all over Panamá and you should go see it. We went on a one-day-tour and discovered that we paid as much as the people that were going to sleep there for one night (but this was caused by the agency Panama Unlimited, that I really do not recommend). Well, they... More

Great sea, great location, a real paradise. Be aware that the was no running water. You need to know if your cabin has a private bathroom. The food is mediocre unless you buy lobsters at sea for $5 per Lb and have them serve you one every meal. I also noticed that my agency overcharged me for the same cabin,... More

The San Blas islands are beautiful and in order to enjoy your experience, you mostly have to be aware of the kind of services and accommodation you will be having. Firstly, the pick-up from the hotel with the 4WD (3 h ride) worked well and so did the pick up by the boat (although we had to wait for an... More
