If you take the time to get to know the staff, you will uncover very helpful people who are both knowledgeable about the area and Panama in general. Both managers, Evan and Haxaria, were exceptionally helpful. The evening manager, Haxaria, the one we spoke with the most, was fluent in both Spanish and English and eager to solve any problems... Beautiful location on the ocean. Love the swim up bar! We have been there several times and always enjoy our stay. However, this resort no longer offer the all inclusive which we really liked. Great food at the restaurant and everything is reasonably priced.

Unbelievable setting sets Las Olas apart. Spectacular volcanic beach that is other wise isolated. Great pool, food, and setting. We spent New Years and the time before and after and will be back. Great party on NY eve on the beach with fireworks, dancing, and great people.

This resort is very beautiful. Nice restaurant, two swimming pools, right on the ocean, beautiful beach, friendly and co-operative staff. The rooms are reasonably priced and very nice, although small. The tiny patios look right out onto the ocean. Unfortunately it is very far out in the middle of nowhere (about a half hour from David) and the road is... More

OK, this "resort" may be lacking in many respects, but I don't know of any other decent beach hotel where you can spend as little as we did per night and be able to open your door to a view of the Pacific, and pop a cerveza on your private veranda. We stayed there midweek in mid December, and the... More

You can walk miles on the beach...The only thing is there are no places to stop and have a drink after awhile. Low tide is great, it is so flat... Enjoyed the pool and all of the helpful people there. There are a couple of local places next to this place that we enjoyed going to.

This place is VERY hard to get to - way, way, way out there. Thank goodness for the signs on the roads the hotel has made with arrows, because you would never find it. It was like a ghost town and I understand why. The beach is NOT a "black sand" beach. I've been to black sand beaches in Hawaii.... More

Yes, we are a little remote. This, for some, is a negative aspect. For others seeking solitude and relaxation, this is definitely a positive thing! I'm sorry we were further out than you would have preferred. We offer a multitude of signage along the route to Las Olas to make arrival as easy as possible for our guests. Regarding the... More

This place has so much potential but it is a journey just to get here and I question whether it is worth it. I enjoyed seeing the sugar cane plantations on the trip to the resort and I loved the natural surroundings- palm trees, black sand beach-which make this area awesome. Bedding, bath and amenities could certainly be improved on.... More

We are so glad that you enjoyed the beautiful area! The beach is stunning, isn't it? We have been working on improvements and have so many great things happening. I was hoping I could ask your opinion on something. We have to have some sort of identifier for guests so that they may use the facilities and enjoy the full... More

We decided to take an 8 hour road trip from our house in the Azuero Peninsula to spend 2 nights at Las Olas....from the moment we arrived it was all that we were looking for it is very remote and peaceful we were the only guest on the first day. The beach and pool area are fabulous! The rooms were... More

The outside of the resort is really beautiful. I thought the pool was amazing especially for this area! The restaurant was beautiful but I was under impressed with the food. I ordered the house special which is whole fried pargo. Not sure how you can mess that up but it tasted horrible. My daughter had chicken fingers. She liked them... More
