Best choice ever. I'd been to Colón with my girlfriend just for a night and we love that place. Nice breakfast, nice swimming pool, nice sight... Unfortunately, Colón city doesn't have a good structure to receive tourists. In my opinion, this hotel is the best choice around. The ONLY PROBLEM I had was when I received my credit card bill.... I recently stayed here while touring the area. It is located on a lake and surrounded by lush vegetation. The grounds are beautiful and quiet . Service was slow checking in but no real problems. The room was spacious and clean and very attractive with painted tiles decorating the floor. The mattress was old and lumpy as were the pillows.... More

We got in at 5.30 pm and nobody seems to see us. Staff at the front desk were very busy doing nothing, had no attention to us. No one to help us with luggage. Rooms are old fashioned. Fridge does not work, ice melting with a lot of water on the floor. Curtain dirty etc. etc Staff asked to repair... More

The setting is beautiful. The condo we stayed in was very nice & the bed, great. It's good to have a kitchen if you are here. And, it would be a difficult stay if you had no car and no Spanish. For many people, it might be wiser to stay in Panama City and just do excursions up to Colon.... More

Great place to stay and a very nice restaurant. Really enjoyed dancing to the band in the lounge after dinner. Be sure to walk the grounds, we saw a sloth up in one of the trees by the boat dock. More

We spend only one night here. Got in at 4:30 and there was nothing to do except swim, but there were no towels. The pool is really nice and the interior of the hotel pretty. The rooms are not very nice--battered and uncomfortable. Admitedly our Spanish is poor (our fault) and the only hotel worker who spoke English recommended a... More

This property is not at all what was described to us. We stayed in one of the condos. We were told multiple restaurants on site - only one and the food was terrible! Casino had been closed for a year. Very remote and could not get a taxi on Sunday!!! Several days we could not get pool towels for a... More

OK. The bad: The other reviewers are right. Staff is absolutely horrible on customer service that goes for check-in and the overpriced restaurant. Slow beyond belief. The restaurant food- skip for dinner and lunch. And the trip to the hotel will take you through a darn right, roll up the car window and lock it, don't stop, slummy area. The... More

Dear all, I am writing because I've never been so dissapointed in my life. When you see the photos of this hotel you imagine a beautiful and clean hotel by the lake. We made reservations for last week and we had to run away to Panama City. Unfortunatelly the hotel is abandoned, the restaurant smells like sewage and our room,... More

Stayed two nights before a cruise (APRIL 2009) - a beautifully situated hotel with three pools and on the Gatun (TV old but hey I didn't go half way around the world to watch TV anyway) - the room was fairly basic but then it was value for money - clean and a lovely view. Food was good and good... More
