We just returned from our first trip to Panama, and 3 wonderful nights at the Coffee Estate Inn. The bungalow was charming, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and elegantly appointed with high quality linens and toiletries. The pictures don't do it justice. The views of the mountains are incredible. No photo enthusiast could be disappointed at the many picture taking opportunities.... More

Our stay at the Coffee Estate Inn was one of the highlights of our recent trip to the Boquete area. Pictures don't do justice to the beautiful, spacious bungalows at the inn. The view from our windows and balcony included Volcan Baru in the distance, the Boquete valley below, frequent rainbows and the estate's plentiful flowers and coffee plants. Our... More

For the past nine years, we have enjoyed terrific times at the Coffee Estate Inn and this last visit did not disappoint. When we could steal ourselves away from the OMG view (!), we walked the grounds that are as immaculate and well maintained as ever. The roomy bungalows have been upgraded with good taste, with practicality in mind, and... More

We just spent three nights here and it was simply perfect. Located an easy 5 minute drive outside the town The Coffee Estate Inn is secluded, peaceful and beautiful. Our cabin/bungalow was set on the hillside amidst gorgeous gardens with spectacular views of the valley below from the terrace, living area and bedroom. Breakfast of fresh fruits and home baked... The Coffee Estate Inn is just that...an inn, bed 'n breakfast (and then some). It consists of 3 separate bungalows, all with views into the mountains of Panama. It sits on a small working coffee plantation with beautiful grounds, exotic tropical plants, orange trees and lots of coffee plants, of course. The owners are 2 former-Vancouver BC folks, Barry &... We recently returned for the fourth time to this lovely inn on beautifully landscaped grounds above the town of Boquete. Each unit consists of a comfortable and well-appointed cottage with a balcony overlooking the dormant 11,000 foot Volcan Baru. The hosts, Jane and Barry, accommodated our every need. We and our friends, Leslie and Lee, enjoyed three "date night dinners"... More

Most visitors to Panama usually opt to spend the majority of their time in either Panama City or in Bocas Del Toro. My advice is to skip or spend minimal time in those tourist spots, and truly experience Panamanian culture at the Coffee Estate Inn. Situated in the quaint but bustling town of Boquete a short 40 minute plane ride... More

This one makes me want to downgrade all but a very few of my "excellent" reviews to "very good". It is excellent above and beyond! Hosts Barry and Jane are not only fine in keepers and chefs, but fine quality people as well. Entering their world is to enter a "world beyond". Our room had a magnificent view of Boquete... More

This is a wonderful location for this beautiful hotel. At a little higher elevation, Boquete enjoys much cooler temperatures than David, or the Osa Peninsula. The hotel was lovingly built by the owner operators (Barry and Jane) and has 3 separate bungalows. We had a full on view of the volcano across the valley from our living room and our... More

From the moment I spoke to Jane (she called us in Canada to take our reservation), I knew that we made the right choice by deciding to stay at the Coffee Estate Inn... As we pulled up to the gate, my boyfriend and I looked down the steep driveway and fell in love instantly. The property is stunning while the... More
