Loved this hotel.. stayed there for two nights and the stay was perfect. My favourite part was definitely the restaurant, ate there more than four times. Lunch in the restaurant and dinner in the bar / chimney area is highly recommended. Friendly staff. 5 Stars.

My girlfriend and I spent this past week-end at Hotel Panamonte. We purchased a Groupon Coupon so we got a 50% discount although at full price is still worth the money. The first night we spent in Suite #1 which as quite spacious and beautiful. Although the hotel is 100 years old this year, the rooms totally renovated and modern.... More

Been here many times and it's still my favorite hotel in Boquete! We keep on trying other hotels but we still go back to my favorite Panamonte. Food is great, service is good and the bar/lounge/fireplace room is great to hang out. Going back for sure. Brings back excellent memories.

It seems only right that I be sitting on the porch, on a Sunday morning, having one last breakfast, after three weeks in Boquete. I stayed in a very large and well appointed garden view king for two nights prior to beginning my immersion Spanish at Habla Ya language school. The property is lovely, the staff speaks enough English to... More

I have several friends who are perpetual tourists in Centro America (I have legal residency in Costa Rica) and they need to make 90-day periodic "visa runs" to remain legal in the countries of their choice. I came along on one of these junkets just for the ride. We stayed in Boquete for three nights in March, 2014 at the... More

We stayed in Room 2 which faced the large Mango tree and main Reception/restaurant area. We loved our room and we enjoyed the peaceful feeling of the place. While we were there, we saw a double rainbow over the city. The food was delicious.

First, do not -- NOT -- accept a room in the converted house just over the road from the main complex, unless you like dank, small, low door frames (deadly for anyone over 160cm tall) and linoleum tile in your room. Serious Ick factor. Several of the rooms in the main complex are dowdy, too. We overheard a French couple... More

Since we were traveling on a budget we were absolutely thrilled when the smallest room at the inn fell into our price range. And though the room was cozy, the furnishing, linens and attention to detail were not compromised. The property is lovely with extensive gardens, and the staff is attentive. But our favorite part was the bar area; I... More

Our recent 3 night stay in the Chiriqui Highlands was at the Panamonte Inn, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels group. We therefore expected good things and were not disappointed. The hotel is small set in lovely gardens with many interesting birds on view and we occupied a Garden terrace room (number 9). These rooms and the suites are... More

What a let down ! Had the Boquete trout......dry as shoe leather. The portions were miniscule and the price was really high for this town. There are several fine restaurants in Boquete.....this is not one of them. There were only 3 or 4 tables occupied.............no excuse for such lousy food.
