Stayed here for only one night unfortunately, but absolutely loved the charming cottages and the atmospheric mountainlodge style reception/restaurantbuilding. There are a few trails close to the resort, one is a very steep path up the hill to a great viewpoint next to a coffeeplantation. Lots of birds and beautiful trees and plants. Also a few small waterfalls/ponds with small wooden... More

We went for hiking following the sign to this hotel. I thought we will never make it up to the top , but we did and just as well, because the views and gardens of this hotel are outstanding. The food was excelent, the best food we have eaten in Panama. the best way to get there is taxi or... More

A lovely hotel and great surroundings. The bathroom and bedroom were a good size, linen was spotless and good quality and they included toiletries in the bathroom. The food was excellent and compared in price to similar restaurants. The hotel was slightly remote but that didn't bother me because it was so quiet I got one of my best nights... More

You don't give an option for 'sort of trip' - Organised tour - but that is what we were on so I have no idea about the costs involved but loved the place, only sorry we were there for only a single night. Certainly the road up to it is long and bumpy but well worth it. It was raining... More

Upon arriving this beautiful place, I knew that it was well worth the trouble. One needs to drive approximatedly 5 km of literally unpaved road. Going up in a small car is not a good idea, you need a mid size SUV at the least. The road is single-laned, so if there's another vehicle heading towards the opposite side, you... More

The hotel has nice accommodations and a beautiful view from the Boquete Valey. As it is placed on the high lands, all restaurants and things to do are a little bit far (15 - 20 minutes by car)... The experience is Ok while the price is overestimated! The Hotel restaurant is nice and cozy but the food has nothing special.... More

First, the location for birding was excellent. There is a fairly good trail system (if you ask the front desk) that takes you through primary forest. We even saw a Quetzal. Other cloud forest specialties are easily found. Second, we stayed in a cabana and it was very well appointed. All the finishes were new and very tasteful. The shower... More

We stayed here two nights as part of a tour through Central America. We were on a budget tour so this place was the best we stayed at. The accommodation was very good, comfortable bed and a good bathroom with plenty of hot water. A continental breakfast was included and was tasty. We had two dinners at the restaurant and... More

Brought our 7-year-old daughter here for her birthday. Had the most wonderful time in nature on the many hikes around the property. The trip culminated at the canopy tour which we did in the afternoon after our stay. The guides were excellent and great with children. There is nothing like it! My daughter was only scared for the first 5... More

This hotel is nice and comfortable, a lovely restaurant and bar with a lovely view of the mountains and clouds! Unfortunately though it is a half hour ride from boquete up a very steep dirt road that requires a special vehicle, which isn't ideal. Most tours start at 8, so you need to take the hotel shuttle down at 7.30.... More
