This newly built and spotlessly clean motel is a convenient 10-minute walk from town. Elena at the front desk was very helpful in arranging local tours and advising us on the best way to travel to Bocas Del Toro (take the shuttle, not a rental car). We slept well in Boquete--the frogs croaking in the rear parking lot was the... More

When we (wife & I) got to Boquete we had been told to stay at the Oasis B&B which is on the bank of the Caldera River across the bridge from the town square. It was nice but heavy equipment was working in the river bed starting at first light in the morning & very noisy. With that we decided... More

Stayed there this February, rooms are nicely finished but musty smelling. The patio windows on the ground floor open up to the road and sidewalk, so there is a lot of traffic noise and no privacy, also walls have no sound deadening feature, you can hear everything that is happening on your floor. They have wireless internet, but unless you... More

I stayed here for 4 nights October 2014. This is a lovely hotel about 2 kilometers across the river from downtown Boquete so you need either a car of your own or a taxi to access the town. The hotel was immaculately clean and the room was large and spacious. The front desk staff was always helpful and spoke at... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Ladera for 2 nights. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was conveniently across the river from Boquete on Calle Buenos Aires which runs parallel the river. Boquete has few hotels, and Ladera is one of the better choices. However, all hotel rooms face Calle Buenos Aires, and are subject to the... More

I booked this hotel not knowing that the bridge that makes it an easy walk to downtown Boquete was destroyed in a flood a number of years ago. The Moon Guidebook that listed this hotel doesn't mention this important fact. As a result, we had to take a taxi every time we wanted to get somewhere because we didn't have... More

Hotel is at right spot. Silent and quiet. Away from Boquete center but close for all activities arround. We had a great stay. Been to Boquete several times - this is the real Hotel site. Great service and friendly helpfull staff. Quite and peaceful stay for 2 nights with our 4 kids.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Ladera during a week-long trip to Panama, and this stay was the absolute low point of the trip. We felt that the quality of the room and amenities did not much exceed that of a hostel, even though we were charged at the expensive hotel rate of over $100/a night--and this was during... More

From the minute we pulled up, we feel in love with Hotel Ladera. Immaculate gardens, pristine building, and quaint little balconies. The lobby was beautiful and inviting. Elena was awesome and helped us figure out how to get to The Lost Waterfalls, where to buy a cooler, where to have laundry done, etc. The rest of the staff was also... More

The hotel's staff has a great attitude toward customer service & conscientious upkeep. It is obvious that the staff cares about where they work and the experience of guests that arrive. Nathalie, the manager, speaks excellent English for those of us (like me) that are still Espanol challenged. The first impression upon driving up is one of an immaculately kept... More
