Seeing the turtles, and having everything explained was wonderful. We stayed in their new " Eco tents" I think brought in from Oz and they were wonderful. Really high standard. Even had a tv and wardrobe - we didn't use either as we were there for just one night.

Stayed here on an independent trip around Oman. The Reserve offers accommodation, but in a half-hearted way. The one "window" in our room comprised a narrow slit. It would have been nice for guests to sit outside and relax, but no tables or chairs available. Buffet meals were adequate, but nothing more.

The reserve and the attraction of witnessing sea turtles nesting and lay their eggs it's just fantastic. Such an eye opener in today's consumerism. We have stayed here for one night to see green turtles. It's located closed to the turtle nest beach. We saw turtles laying eggs, small turtles. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are big and comfortable. the only pity is the dinner that is astronomically expensive (20 OMR for person).

The only reason for the visit is to see the turtles so to that extent you are a captive consumer whilst you are there. We booked a room but got upgraded to one of the new Eco tents. Very beautiful tents with all the mod cons and even a safe. Got the chance to stay at one of the new luxury tents. not only the accommodation was comfortable and clean the staff was very attentive and courteous. top quality service from A to Z.
