Somewhat disappointed in that the very firm pillows made sleeping anything but restful, emerging with a stiff neck . Softer pillows would help. Sunset from sand dunes was highlight, and staff very helpful. Agree with another reviewer that Bathroom fitments And accessories were below par

We stayed for a night and drove from Muscat with a guide, stopping at Wadi Bani Khaled on the way. We stopped and fed camels along the way... Truly amazing experience. Our girls were spoilt and immersed in the whole experience and loved the camels, sand dune climbing and the food. It would have been even better if there was... More

We spent two night there and found the tents very good with charming seating area inside and a veranda outside. The bathroom was good and functional. Food good and the staff very helpful.. HOWEVER...... my husband and I are old and could not take part in any activities but would have been happy just to sit and relax on the... More

The tents are beautifully located in a valley amidst the large sand dunes at the entrance to the Empty Quarter. The drive there is not so far from civilization but far enough that you feel completely removed. Both camel rides and quad biking are available. I'd take a short camel ride but go for an extended quad bike experience up... More

The room we had was well air-conditioned, comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The seating outside is a nice touch, allowing you to enjoy the view/stars. Food in the evening was fair, the local band were very good. Two negatives, one the hotel can fix, the other worth visitors knowing: 1) checking out I settled the bar tab at... More

We booked a night at Desert Nights Camp as a treat when my parents came to visit. The stay was the highlight of their trip. The camp truly offers a glamping experience while at the same time giving you the feeling of being isolated in nature. I did worry when booking because I had trouble getting the information I needed... More

This was the highlight of a 12 day trip to Oman - in fact this was one of our all-time highlights in 25 years of travel. Of course much of the credit must go to the amazing power of Mother nature, who has created a majestic scene of dunes and hills covering thousands of square miles of Oman desert -... More

first remember you are in a desert, you are in oman......imagine a tent with air conditioning, clean, comfortable and does not leak in a heavy rain storm!
