Front office staff are not courteous. Wifi works only in the restaurants and the waiting lounge at the ground floor. Wifi does not work in the hotel rooms. Other than complete shut down of power, you cannot control the air conditioner Room Service is very poor. Room Service people came to my room at 4PM to change the bed covers... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with wife and 7 month son during peak season. Rooms rent (40 OMR for one room) was far above my expectation as per my 2 years earlier experience (OMR 35 for 2 bedroom furnished apartment). Stay was good. I only had 2 problems. First there was no wifi in rooms you have to come down... More

Had to wipe the toilet seat upon arrival to remove previous guest's stains. The bathroom also has many insects/bugs crawling around. The toilet also consistently leaked over the floor. It is overall an old room but apparently rooms 3&4 have been refurbished so it is worth asking to have a look. Reception were there to answer questions but not particularly... More

I took a night bus from Muscat to Salalah and arrived Salalah 5am in the morning. Salalah hotel is just located right opposite the bus station and was the right choice to choose for people who wanted to travel on bus. Rooms are clean and service is pretty good, the staff are pretty friendly and they offer pretty good rates... More

Salalah Hotel is the best budget option for sleeping in Salalah. Cosy rooms with air condition, TV and refrigerator. Clean bathroom and comfortable beds. Quiet surrounding. The hotel is very close to bus station , so if you arrive to Salalah by bus you don't have to carry your rucksack very far. The price for double room in January 2010... More
