This resort was more than we expected. We felt like it was a private little town. The employees were so attentive and nice. We stayed in a bungalow (family of four) it was nice to have connecting rooms. They put us in a great location between the pool and the restaurant. Pleasant relaxing trip would definitely go back again. more

Reading the other reviews I would say that a day pass is probably the way to go. I went to the Montelimar resort with my wife and her family (who we were staying with in Managua). For a Canadian, I must say that the trip there alone was an incredible experience. Through the Rainforest and small villages along the way.... more

My family and I were there for a family vacation (three adults and 2 kids 8 and 6 years old). The receptionist gave us one room for 5 people with only 2 full size beds. When we complained, the receptionist told us that if we wanted an additional bed we had to pay 15 dollars for an extra small bed.... more
