I love Walvis Bay but it is really difficult to find great accommodation. On my previous business trip I stayed at the Protea in town which was aweful, this was definitely a step up. Staff were friendly and the food was average but the rooms felt like they needed a good clean. The duvets are full of lumps! Overall not... More

Stayed for two nights while exploring the coast up to Cape Cross. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and very clean. Locality superp and we were able to watch the flamingoes from our room. Were too early on the road to stay for Breakfast but had Dinner both nights and they were most satisfying. Other restaurants in close proximity.... More

Good hotel in front of the beach and near of the seaport. In one hundred meters far from the hotel you have four restaurants with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Clean, free wi-fi and medium size rooms. Also you have a nice restaurant and one lounge to have a meeting or some beers.

Stayed here in connection with transit from a ship. Very nice hotel direct to the seafront. Close by is a restaurant/bar buildt out on the water. Clean and cozy rooms. Nice breakfast with eggstation. Friendly staff. Only minus was a bit of truble with the keycards.

I was there with some friends . The hotel is at the right place , with great view to the bay and the flamingoes. Rooms are clean and the room is nice. I strongly recommend that hotel if you are around.

Recently I went to Walvis Bay on business and was delighted to be booked in to the Pelican Point Protea Hotel. The location of the hotel is very good being right on the shore of the Walvis Bay lagoon. The rooms are clean and neat and functional and served me sufficiently well for the purpose of my stay, however there... More

This hotel situated on the lagoon gives you front row seats to watch amazing sunsets. Also located within walking distance to the Waterfront area which is a bustling restaurant scene with some of the best eating places in Walvis bay. It is also the starting point for daily cruises and very touristy. The hotel itself is your basic 3 star... More

We were a small group consisting of family members and friends that stayed there for one night with the primary aim to do a boat cruise. We stayed on the first floor with a view over the lagoon which is west and thus ideal for sunset viewing. We were booked for "double rooms" with the option of inner connecting doors... More

Probably the best place to stay if you are in Walvis Bay. Pleasant hotel with amazing views..... flamingos, pelicans... Also has a great pathway for walks along the beach in the morning/afternoon. There are also a couple of good restaurants within walking distance.

Friendly reception staff and an awesome setting on the lagoon make this a great choice when staying in Walvis Bay - My wife and I enjoyed our stay as we had a top floor lagoon facing room. Beds were comfortable and the room clean and tidy complete with bar fridge and coffee station. The Bathroom has a shower and bath... More
